Ohlone Trail Parking (Lime Ridge)

We just watched two guys and a truck break into a car at 1:15 PM on a Monday and this tiny parking lot with people hiking in and out and there were people literally hundred feet away. Don’t leave anything showing.

At the end if April this area is filled with yellow wild flowers that are taller than a person. Trails are good, but the one we took was not very wide and there were a lot of moutian bikers, you have to step off trail to let them pass.

Beautiful trails and many options to walk around, I see that it is more remote, which means that you can find more wild life, we saw many rats in the trail, one jump on my feet, but not big deal, then when we arrived on the top we saw a Rattlesnake BIIIGGGG, you can see in the pictures and video! Watch out! Look where you step and DON'T PANIC!!! DON'T THROW ROCKS or anything in the snakes or any wild life! They are more scared than you! Just wait, and they follow their path! In this case, the hiker was very nervous asking me to throw a rock or something, and I was trying to calm him down and just wait! After less than 2 min, this beautiful snake just got out of the trail and followed her way, so It's a beautiful trail, but I think can be kind of dangerous to walk alone or without a phone for an emergency. But YES I recommend this trail with all this =)

Beautiful hiking destination amazing view from the top, highly recommend for bikers walkers and families!

One of the best trails, biker loves this trail with limited parking spots. However, the slope and path are suitable for kids who love to experience the beauty of nature nearby the town.
