I can't say enough good things about Custer McDermott AH & especially our regular vet, Dr Alexandra Brewer. She & the staff have looked after all of our animals for at least the last six years. I am confident in the level/quality of medical care we've received for our cats, dogs, & now aquatic turtle. I appreciate the range of options they do their best to provide & I love that docs & techs never make me feel like a dummy for not being as knowledgeable. I'm always amazed at how well they remember us - everyone from reception/intake to techs to the docs show a sincere compassion that's SO important in healthcare, especially for our family members that can't speak. Frances, Vickie, & everyone else at the front desk make us feel so loved! I've seen each vet there currently & I've never been disappointed (but you know you are our fave, Dr Brewer!) I am really thrilled that Dr Demmin has exotic experience for our map turtle as well. In everything from kittenhood to our last moments with our senior dogs, Custer McDermott has consistently given us their utmost.

Very professional staff, my dog was in serious pain from IVDD (three ruptured discs in spine), I called them on a Tuesday around 1PM, they had me bring her in @ 4:30 PM, De. Cinclair spent the better part of an hour and a half treating her, taking X-rays, going over with me all possible routes to take with her, including possible surgery, she started her first of 12 laser therapy treatments that visit. The Vet techs and reception staff were all great and helped me when I had to carry her into the waiting room and exam room. When the laser therapy did about as much as was possible, Dr Cinclair recommended an outstanding Vet, Dr. Hartai, to do acupuncture, which we are currently taking part in. She is slowly getting better and has shown progress since her first visit @ Custer McDermott. I highly recommend them to anyone needing veterinary treatment for their dog. We love Custer McDermott Animal Hospital!! We have been taking our dogs, cats, and guinea pigs to Custer McDermott Animal Hospital for the past 8 years. I highly recommend checking them out if you are looking for a knowledgeable, compassionate, efficient, and reasonably priced veterinary practice! They are the BEST!!! Dr. Alexandra Brewer is our favorite veterinarian, but all of the veterinarians with this practice are outstanding. The staff is always so helpful and kind too. Every single visit has been a positive experience.

We love Dr. Brassette!!! We brought in our baby Alfie as a kitten the day we got him back in November 2024. ALL the staff, from front desk to all of the techs at CMAH have been so kind, welcoming and so loving to our baby. I actually look forward to our appointments and leave with the biggest smile knowing Dr. Brassette and all of the staff genuinely care about and love their furry patients.

My beloved cat of 15 years was dying of kidney disease and needed multiple weekly I V Injections. His first injection came to $160 plus the $84 for the appt. I canceled his 2nd appt the next day strictly for financial reasons. I had to give up on my best friend of 15 years because I couldn't go into financial ruin spending $500-$750 a week to get him the care he needed from Custer McDermott. After 2 days of hell trying to care for him the best I could, at the same time saying goodbye to such a sweet, loyal friend. I did some research and found out that cats with kidney disease could be given I V injections at home by their owners and also found out the cost of the fluid he needed was only $1 per injection. If you had a written prescription and ordered it from Chewy.com. Custer McDermott marked up the cost of my cat's medication 8000%. Once I got my bearings and found all this out it was too late. I had to put him down.
