My baby didn’t actually get a chance to be seen here due to an emergency they had on their end that took more priority. That said, they were extremely kind and communicative throughout that process as well as transparent. While I ultimately made the decision to go elsewhere, it was not due to lack of customer service or anything like that. There were just other babies in more need at the time and I understood and respected that. I was also out of town so the fact that they were willing to consider taking my baby was still a very kind gesture. Would consider coming here again if I’m back out of state.

I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism we experienced at the front desk during our visit. Upon arrival, I was instructed to leave my 6-month-old puppy in the car (while it was 75 degrees outside) and return inside to complete the intake paperwork. While I completely understand that she needed to remain outside until she could be tested for parvo, I later learned that the forms could have been completed on my phone, which would have allowed me to stay in the car with my puppy. After completing the forms, one staff member delayed collecting the iPad from me, choosing instead to assist a customer who approached the desk after me and answer the phone—despite two other staff members being present. The interaction felt disorganized and reckless. After submitting the forms, I was told that someone would come to the car “soon” to collect a parvo sample. After waiting in the car for over an hour, I called the front desk to ask for an update. That was when I was informed that the wait time would be 6–8 hours. It would have been extremely helpful if that estimate had been communicated when we initially checked in so we could make an informed decision about our options. Aside from briefly describing our puppy’s symptoms on the intake form, no one gathered additional medical history (such as duration of symptoms or potential risk factors) while we waited. I completely understand that emergency clinics prioritize more critical cases, and we were prepared to wait. However, clear communication about expectations and timelines would have made a significant difference. Ultimately, we decided to bring our puppy to Holly Springs instead, where the experience was significantly better from the moment we arrived. I cannot speak to the quality of the medical care at Points East, as we only interacted with the front desk staff. However, based on this experience alone, we do not plan to seek care here again. Bringing a pet in for emergency care is already stressful - feeling dismissed and uninformed by staff during the intake process alone is far from beneficial.

February 4, 2026 after 6 o’clock we took our baby to your facility waited over two hours to your vet tech and then another three hour pass. You guys decided to tell us that you will not know when to see my babies. You will not know when doctor is available because you are in triage. Guess what after five hours we’ve been waiting we left with a sick baby because you have not seen them and because you have a turn your back on my baby February 5, 2026 even she went to her normal vet spend $1000 this day and yet because she was not taking care in time because you denied it my baby is passed away at age 4 not even made to 5. I hope you guys do know how much we’re hurting this baby was my emotional support dog and you take that from me because you thought she was not urgent if she was not urgent why would we be an emergency vet at night and waiting over five hours for doctor to come in Thank you for what you did not do basically ignore my baby and now she’s gone I blame you whole heartedly

Took my dog in on Christmas. It was an emergency situation and she was taken back right away. They were very helpful and explained everything fully. They took great care of my baby and i hope to never need them again but if I do I am glad they're there. Thank you guys so much.

I absolutely loved our vet tech, Alex. She is probably one of the most personable healthcare professionals I have ever met, especially in the veterinary field. She answered all of our questions about our injured kitty and explained every procedure throughout our visit in a way that was easy to understand. I really feel like she went out of our way to make sure our cat was cared for and comfortable, both in office and at home. I would recommend this facility solely based off of our experience with her 🧡
