Fruitvale... Do NOT take your animals to this office!! They treated my dog horribly and will not take responsibility for the surgeon's mistake. My dog was given a surgery that she should not have gotten. It almost cost my dog her life! The surgeon caused an internal bleed in my dog during the spay and did not take accountability for almost a week after the surgery. She was pouring blood from the spay incision within 3 hours of getting home from the vet. It required $1400 in rescue care at the animal er to stop the bleeding and save her life. I am paying over $2000 in bills from both vets for what was supposed to be a simple growth removal in my dog's mouth (and an unwanted, unnecessary spay) I had denied the spay surgery for almost a month and I was frequently pushed by this office to add the spay surgery. The office made the 2 surgeries together cheaper than just the initial mouth surgery. They did not offer ANY help towards the bills and did not check on my dog to make sure she was ok. They also do not have an after hours number for surgery complications should they arise. Luna was literally pouring blood from her incision. The vet stated that my dog was too fat to close the sutures all the way and that she would just have a "skin bleed". He also stated that he did not give my dog the proper anesthesia for her surgery and she started to wake up part way though. When this happened he caused the internal bleed and made a larger than normal incision and tried to cover it up. He didn't admit to the bleed for almost a week. He claims NO responsibility for the bleed. He said it was "fine by the time she left". She ended up bleeding quite a bit and had severe bruising for a couple weeks after the animal ER gave her overnight emergency care. Do NOT trust your precious fur baby going into Grand View for care. Please look into other vet offices in the area. Make sure to find a vet that will listen to your concerns, be professional, give proper care to your animal, and a vet that will take FULL accountability for their actions

Grand View is my go-to vet. The entire team is awesome, and I know that no matter who is there, my pets will get quality care from people who care. My boy Cappuccino even looks forward to vet visits! I'm back with an update! Since my original review, GVAH found cancer during a routine visit, and were able to quickly diagnose, and remove the tumor in my little pup right away. The vets continue to provide top notch care, quickly, and at reasonable prices. Latte is back to her usual beggar self.

Dr. Hogan has changed my neglected rescue cattle dog’s life. Starvation early in life set the stage for IBD and unmanaged anxiety that she diagnosed and treated. My Sunny boy is on the road to recovery and a normal life. I’m so grateful for this office, their staff and Dr. Hogans passion for healing pets!

Every pet I’ve brought here has had the best care. Whether it be a basic check up, X-Rays, or when they pass, my pets have always been pampered and catered to 💕

There are not enough kind words I could say about this place. A few weeks ago I had to put my dog down and she’s been my best friend for the last 10 years. It was one of the hardest things I have ever gone through. The team here is so trauma informed and well educated about how to care for your animals. They handle the hardest situations with tact and grace. Thank you guys so much for making something so painful and hard just a little easier to go through. I’ve been going here 10 years now and I wouldn’t recommend any other place.
