Had a wonderful day took the Metro-North over and spent a few hours exploring God is love

Nice trail; however, too many crazy people using electric scooters, bicycles, and even gas powered bikes too fast. As an older person I was afraid I would be hit.

Place to enjoy early spring

Beautiful trail especially in the fall and spring. You can use it for a local walk or exercise, to bike, walk your dog, or for an ambitious hike. The trail connects all the way up along the Hudson and also goes south to the Bronx into Van Cortlandt Park. The trail is paved and easy to walk and bike on except in snow. The local folks are friendly and courteous and it's very quiet.

This is an amazing trail. The old train tracks have been converted to a new nature trail that stretches all the way from New York City to Albany where it splits in to. Keep going north to Canada or turn West towards Buffalo. The entire trail is paved and relatively flat so it's easy on the feet. The southern section can be a bit annoying because of the constant drone of traffic from the Sawmill River Parkway. Once you get past Croton the path gets more woodsy and there's only local traffic street traffic to contend with. So far I've made from the Bronx to Brewster by just doing one section at a time. How far will I go? We shall see.
