(from Google)There are numerous trail heads along the Greenbelt. The trail is well kept and beautiful. Bike, runners and pet friendly
Very cool place to hike, walk, and ride a bike! Seen a few homeless folks but they didn't bother anyone.
I believe this Greenway is over ten miles long. We did about 5 round-trip and it is one of the most scenic city greenways I have ever walked. Several places to park along the way. Historical markers along the way to tell you what you are viewing or what happened on the spot long ago. I really appreciate the city of Kingsport constructing something so beautiful for the public to enjoy. It follows the Holston River, I believe.
Who can resist baby geese? I have been going to the greenbelt for years and it is a great place to feed the ducks and geese a nutritionally balanced lunch of corn or chicken scratch. Also has a wetlands boardwalk which is just awesome. Beware!!! The river floods if it rains too much and covers the trail in mud so if it has rained a lot recently think twice.
This is the place I love it. clean corridor many big trees I imagine the leaves turning red. I'd like to have a chance to see it. I'm very envious of the people here. If I have the opportunity, I will come back again.
