Michael was so very helpful. I am new to the hobby and had so many questions during my research phase. I stopped in 2-3 times to look and discuss different topics, lighting, tank cycles, filtration, variety of tank mates just to name a few. He gave me advice on setting up my 78 gallon planted community tank. He was extremely responsive to my Facebook messages and he never made me feel dumb. Just updating my review. This is why you shop local! I ran into some health issues with my fish (my own fault) Mikey was so helpful in giving me guidance through the treatment process. Where you spend your money matters and having a resource to help you through first time “hiccups” makes the process so much smoother.

All the great reviews are correct! Great store! Clean tanks, healthy looking fish, products and fish I haven't seen at other stores. I travel for work so I get to visit more LFS than the average individual probably does. Prices were awesome! Granted, I'm basing that on local prices in my home state. Owner was very friendly and helpful. If you're in the area and you haven't been here yet, what are you waiting for???

Love this place. The owner is great, and after weeks of searching, they had assassin snails! Good place for aquarium plants too.

I had the best experience! He has such knowledge of the art! He also has great variety in store. I have been looking for some Bolivian Rams for a while and his were beautiful! I can’t wait to go back and add to my collection once my bigger tank is ready!

I always love going in here. My first purchase was my beautiful albino/raspberry mystery snail🤍 he started out so small. And now he's gotten so big since February. My most recent purchase was the 14 "ember tetras" they make a perfect school of 🐠in my 55gal. Last but not least is the exceptional 🪷 plants I bought the same day. My new favorite spot for all my aquarium needs in Springfield! It's definitely the place to check out, At least once - then you'll be hooked! The baby rabbits are just my little pride and joys in the tank also.🥰
