Allendale Pet Groomery

Allendale Pet Groomery is the best 💗 my dogs are very large and always too excited no matter how large the space is. Alexa handled our 95lb boys without any issues! We are classic helicopter parents and have had horrible grooming experiences in the past so it's such a relief to find someone who we can trust with our babies!

Not a happy camper - I loved the place, the customer service, HOWEVER, my rabbit was clipped so bad that now I will be using antibiotic ointment and hope she doesn't get an infection. A response "just keep watching the area" is not great. I understand that you might be great dog groomers but please allow a feedback that you likely should not groom rabbits. They need special grooming tools (which are very gentle on their super fragile skin) and if there is a lot of debris, you should have let the rabbit sit on a damp towel to loosen it up. Again, I was hoping I found a great option that is literally next door but I'm opting to drive far where the rabbit will not get injured. Poor thing is still shaking and doesn't even want her treats, which NEVER happens after her other grooming place.

My Charlie is a mini Australian Shepherd. Lots of energy. He used to get anxious around other people and dogs. I was also worried to have people over and could never take him to a groomer. I am so grateful for Allendale Pet Groomery. Alexa and Eber have given me peace of mind. They are patient and I have seen so much improvement in Charlie. I couldn’t believe it when I saw him with other dogs. I call Eber “the dog whisperer”. They’ve shown me tips on how to train Charlie. Every time he gets groomed, he smells great for days! I highly recommend Allendale Pet Groomery.

Made my rabbit bleed! Wish I could leave a negative star. I brought my pet baby rabbit, a three month old Vienna Blue To get her first nail trimming done, she's extremely docile does not bite as sweet and kisses. I asked if I could go in the back with her since she was very attached to me and terrified since This was her first time all the dogs in the back were shaking that should've been assigned for me to exit quickly, but I thought because of all the positive reviews on here that it would've been Okay. First of all, the groomer barely spoke English and was rough and aggressive, grabbing my rabbit by the ears, like I previously mentioned, she's a baby bunny and very sensitive and very sweet. There was no need to grab her so roughly and I even told him please don't pull her ears like that. She is still very young if you hold her in your arms and and cuddle her you can cut her nails. He was rough and aggressive and two dogs were barking, and he told them to shut up in front of me. All the dogs in there were shaking and looked terrified. What constitutes this man is a professional Animal groomer is even licensed or bonded or insured? Honestly, I was a bit horrified and then as I was leaving, I noticed the interior of my rabbit carrier was full of blood. I brought my rabbit back in and they put some quick medication on her to stop bleeding. On the car ride home, which was only a mile and a half. I noticed that there was blood on her paw again and when I picked her up and looked at it, her paw was bleeding pretty bad. I ran her over to the pet store where I got her from since the vet had no availability And the manager of the pet store grew up on a farm and had rabbits her whole life and was incredibly sweet and helpful and told me to put an anti-bleeding medication on her paw and some antiseptic spray they sold there she even did it for me. Anxiety I face yesterday and my poor rabbit had to endure is not worth it. This is an upscale pet boutique, but behind it there is a man who is not qualified to work with animals grooming our pets!

my newfoundland dog had a delightful experience at allendale pet groomery. Victoria did an outstanding job, he looks better than ever! would definitely recommend and come back!
