Crater Animal Clinic

Most of you agree, are our animals are our family. I Had an appointment for May 19, 2026 to get my two-year-old French Bulldog her rabies shot. Several days before that appt she ended up with some open wounds and large blister in between her toes. It didn’t look severe enough to take her to Emergency and I have appointment in a couple of days so I figured I’d find out what it was then and get advice. When I got there, I explained to the technician before they gave her the shot and asked if they would take a quick look. They came back to me after giving her shots and said we the doctor too busy take a look at her that You’ll need to reschedule another appointment. I’m flabbergasted at this point they didn’t care enough to take 2 minutes to look at her and make sure it wasn’t serious. Even went to the front desk to pay and asked again how can your team not care enough to take a quick look at my little girl and tell me if it’s a more severe problem or if it’s nothing big or Whatever. I’m sorry that’s a business that doesn’t give an hoot about your family member. Clearly, they are more interested in the money the could get to pay for another appointment to come back at another time. In the meantime, my dog has open wounds. I gave them a chance to fix it told him I’d never come back ever again and I’d do this review. They said sorry we’re just too busy. So here’s your 2 minutes back in a review. NOT RECOMMENDED

The techs are so good, the front desk is awesome and we did water and Laser therapy there for my little dog and the girls were amazing as well. The two doctors that we deal with are fabulous. And my little dog is old and can be kind of snarky and they are all so good with him. I appreciate their patience.

I was not a client, Friday afternoon and my Doberman had poisoning, they opened the door for me & Mischka, without any notice, they got me/us in to see the Dr Smith (Epitome of an exceptional veterinarian, down to earth,combined with common sense and a genuine individual) Further more, I had an emergency while at Crater Animal Clinic & left without paying part of my bill, or getting the results of tests. This Clinic was kind, considerate and more than accommodating to me, Mischka & my family. I found Mischkas forever friends. Thank you CAC, all of you are epic & it was very appreciated. We have been customers here for about 5 years. When we moved to the Central Point area, Crater was one of the very few Vets taking new patients. They are phenomenal and their level of care is the very best. We use them for both dogs and horses and couldn’t be happier with the care our animals receive.

First of all the staff at Crater Animal Clinic are absolutely amazing.. but their approach on how to make your pet healthy is awesome there's no pressure sales tactics they just want to try to get your pet healthy what they do is they lay out all the plans that you can go with according to your budget they don't try to get you into unnecessary X-rays and other whatnauts the veterinarian I dealt with David Smith is a rockstar so knowledgeable and there's no pressure very good people there I recommend going there I will be going there with my pet needs from now on.. the price very reasonable
