(from Google)Sad to say it was a terrible experience. Was lured in by the front office with inaccurate pricing. It was only a set monthly price for a pet plan. That was explained, NOT the one time membership fee. That was sprung on me at the desk. When I had asked specific questions on if there was any further fees. Lots of miss information, regarding my pet needing an allergy shot with vaccines. The vet on staff wasn’t the normal vet. It was mentioned that there was issues with my dog not calming. So an exam could not be done? Yet, they were still willing to do the vaccines if I wanted them? How can you do a vaccine yet not an exam? You still have to be hands on… I offered to have the exam done in my arms instead of them taking her into the back room (which was for employees only) I was told no. The vet on staff did not come in to speak with me personally. He or she Stayed in the back the whole time. Yet, I was sitting in an exam room with a table? I kept speaking with the assistant instead. This ended with the manager (who was amazing) refunding an office visit the staff charged me for. Even though the exam wasn’t done. She was the best part of my experience there. Also, the PetSmart manger. Great ladies. However, I will not be returning.
Dr.Fox has been tremendous. Ask specifically for her on the weekend. We had some issues with communication before Dr.Fox took over and made us feel better with high level communication. If it’s a temp vet; run.
Update- I got message asking for me to email and provide more information. I complied and received no response. No one cares at this company. Not in the store and not in corporate. This place is a nightmare. I made an appointment in person face to face with someone at the desk. I never received a confirmation. I called a few hours later to verify. Saved the information in my calendar. Showed up on the day and the correct time for my dogs appointment and was told we were 25 minutes late and needed to reschedule. Absolute garbage customer service and basic human decency. No respect for our time or concern with treating people like human beings. I will never bring my dog there and I hope you’ll think twice about bringing your pet. I wish I could leave zero stars.
AVOID OPTIMUM WELLNESS PLAN, IT’S A SCAM!!! Banfield is full of incompetent people who clearly should not be allowed to service pets. After visiting 3 locations, undergoing medication, and inquiring about dental health, not one single staff member can give me a consistent answer about anything I ask. The staff gave me a number to cancel my membership, and guess what, they’re closed on the weekends. Banfield is incredibly predatory and has zero interest in providing optimal care for your pets.
I've had Banfield wellness program for three consecutive dogs over several years. I've always had great experience with the staff and the dental benefits for optimum plans are a great savings. I had one dog pass away from cancer about halfway thru an annual plan and you do have to pay for the full year, but overall, I have saved a lot of money using their wellness coverage. Every vet I've seen has been excellent and caring.
