(from Google)Veterinarian guy had a bad attitude and was lucky I’m actively trying to be a nicer person otherwise I’d have embarrassed him and his little attitude. Went there because I noticed my bunny had breathing issues and discharge from her eyes and insisted me and my family take her to see the vet. I woke up at 4:20am drove to the vet and waited in line from 5:08am until they opened. I’m the one that noticed the labored breathing, knows her diet the best and her energy levels and how she is health wise (the bunny). When we went inside we were helped by a nice lady in the counter and me being the one that knows about our bunny the most described her condition in great detail to the lady at the counter, when asked I told her that my brother was the owner (but again I AM THE ONE that knows her diet and her condition best because my brother has his own business, works, & studies & has very little personal time and the bunny is for the family, the owner is the one who buys the bunny though). When the short lady with the shaven head came into the room with us, I told her our bunnies symptoms and pertinent information, again because I know it in the best detail. She took down the information and was nice to us. We are a nice family that shows nothing but respect to others. Later when the vet came into the room, and asked what was going on and I tried to explain and he told me and I quote “HE’S THE OWNER LET HIM DO THE TALKING” with a bad attitude toward me like I had shown him attitude or disrespected him. After he told me that he also said and I quote “They told me you were going to be an issue”. 1st of all who was “they” and why in the world did they say I was “going to be an issue” when I had literally done nothing but explain our bunnies condition like a normal person WHEN asked why did we bring her there and what was going on. 2nd I worked at hospitals in the emergency rooms and even if a patient is being rude to a physician they never treat the patient with rudeness ever. 3rd. My brother didn’t know her diet and time line of the symptoms and I would fill in the information when he couldn’t say it to the vet guy. So I ended up speaking regardless even though the vet didn’t want me taking. He recommended several things to my brother like pellets that are made of grass but if the numbskull would have heard me out he’d have known we ALREADY buy her grass made pellets and that they eat carrots and blue berries to their listed online diet portions and that when my brother told him “we feed them bunny pellets mix that contains small berries and treat for bunnies that they sell in the store” and the vet guy said “their not supposed to eat a lot of that, their supposed to eat more pellets and a little bit of that other stuff” I would have told him “we already follow the online diet and they already have a balanced diet”. But again he didn’t wan to hear me out and me trying to be a nice guy at the wrong time/I should have shown him he was in the wrong and embarrassed him, but decided not to embarrass him (I chose wrong). 4. He missed out on patient information because he decided to be rude and not hear what I had to say (know the patients history and diet in way greater detail) but I still mentioned stuff regardless during the conversation. I am going to say this to his face when I go back for the follow up in about a month so he doesn’t think he’s big & can go around disrespecting others for no apparent reason. Literally no reason, since all I did when I was there is LITERALLY just say why we were there & what was going on with our bunny. I can’t wait a whole month with this annoyance inside me so I’m leaving a review for the lack of professionalism and lack of patient orientated practice/not acting in the patients best interest. It’s all about respect and not showing uncalled for disrespect. He was nice to my brother and my mother but after the fact of being super rude to me and even my family said what he did was uncalled for and rude, but decided to brush it off because we were there to make our bunny better & not argue.
Dr Eric is great with ortho and the whole team were kind and worked hard with me for months saving the mobility of this silly orange stray who broke to legs beyond natural healing. They pinned the back leg to hold weight and we spent many weeks fighting an infection when the kitty got the bandages wet but they didn't give up and neither did we. They didn't break my bank or give up and 2 years later I have the sweetest little companion all thanks to their team.
Service is great, best prices. Only reason I knock off a star is dont bother calling. They dont answer the phone. Go online to learn walk in times or just show up to make an appt. I love Dr John's no nonsense, often older style, methods, such as the honey/sugar pack on my kitty's leg when he had an infection. Better than a lot of the modern crap.
I have never had a bad experience with this wonderful place. The staff is caring and quick to answer any questions I might have thoroughly and accurately. They are the sweetest people! I cannot stress that enough. Any issue with my fur babies are always handled with the utmost professionalism and highest level of empathy!
This veterinarian facility is great! We drive an hour put of our way to come to this place. Both doctors are very attentive. Their prices are very reasonable and they do not price gouge like many other veterinarians do. The only downside is they are so busy, appointments are always a month out. They do have walk-ins on certain days but they limit them to 30 and it's first come first serve. People start lining up at 5:00 in the morning. Prepare to be parked on the side of the road for 2 hours before the doors even open.
