Align K9

I have a very anxious Dachshund and I needed help. Ray is my third attempt at professional training and he was the first that Morty responded to with comfort and wagging tails. I tried to "bust his bark" with another company and it only made Morty terrified of trainers. Morty was so calm and comfortable that he fell asleep halfway through Ray's first visit! If you want to feel calm and connected to your dog without having to change everything you do, I highly recommend Align K9. It is a fraction of the cost of the much harsher training options in the area, and it is truly priceless to be taught how to align you and your pup for a happy life. I learned more in 90 minutes than I have in 3 years with my pup, and look forward to continuing with Ray and to see Morty progress into the happy confident dog I know I can help him become.

We rescued 2 puppies from an abusive situation. The male was aggressive and lunged and the female barked constantly at anyone outside our family. After being turned down by other trainers due to their aggressiveness and failing an interview at the boarding facility we use for our senior black lab, they recommended Ray at Align K9. In only 5 sessions, these pups are walking properly on leashes, calmly sitting when Ray visits, eating out of his hand, hopping in and out of the car on command, and walking confidently around our pool. These pups were terrified of these things before training. We are amazed that we can confidently walk them by joggers and kids playing and they sit by our sides! There is still more work to be done, but we’re beyond pleased with their progress! Everyone told us we should consider giving them up. Ray gave us hope.

Ray really knows his stuff! In just 3 sessions so far, my rescue dog Willow’s behavior has improved drastically. She went from aggressively barking at him/ready to attack to being calm around him, taking treats out of his hand, and taking his commands. Willow still has ways to go, but Ray has given me a lot of hope. With proper training, the right tools, working at it every day, and a LOT of patience, it’s possible for any dog to completely transform. Thanks so much, Ray! Ray is a wealth of knowledge with not only canine but human energy and emotion. I adopted a dog from Lee county animal control who had zero manners and was wild beyond belief. Ray taught me how to work with him to set boundaries. He went above and beyond spending extra time to make sure I felt comfortable and understood not only what we were trying to do but the WHY. I would recommend him to anyone looking for help with dog training. Ray says he isn’t a dog whisperer he’s a dog listener which is 110% true. He uses force free training that doesn’t stress the animal and uses positive reinforcement. He is awesome!

Ray was our third trainer to help us raise a rambunctious, rescue lab-mix into a well-mannered pet.
