K-9 Enrichment Center (K9EC)

I absolutely love the K-9 team. I have 2 rescues. The first one needed help due to his past mistreatment. Ryan worked with him privately and now he is a confident and well behaved dog. Crystle is working with my new girl and she is already behaving so much better. The K-9 center is doing great work for out best friends including fostering and handler instruction. The "day care" socialization program has really helped both my dogs and we have enjoyed the classes too. Take your dog to them, you won't regret it.

"He's smart, forthcoming, and willful" was Ryan's assessment of my very wild puppy, Bodie. “What does that mean? “, I asked. The answer: “Bodie is smart, he knows what he wants, and he's stubborn”. Things I couldn’t see through Bodie’s uncontrollable, constant flurry of motion. At K9 Enrichment center, Ryan and Crystle helped Bodie learn to calm down and make good decisions. To this day he makes good decisions. Now, at almost five years old, Bodie is kind, calm, and exceptionally well-balanced, even around strangers and other dogs. Things we only dreamed he could be. When visiting a new daycare center anywhere in the country, he sometimes receives the greatest compliment, “Bodie has very good dog manners”. We are so proud of him. He’s like the Golden Retriever of Terriers! All thanks to the K-9 Enrichment center, Ryan, and Crystle. Someday I hope to be writing a similar review for Ande, our newest, greatest challenge. Ryan and Crystle have been working with our six-year-old Goldendoodle Shelby since she was a puppy. She responds well to their kind but consistent approach to training, and they have developed a great relationship with her over the years. She attends day training once a week and we board her with them when we’re out of town. We would highly recommend the K9 Enrichment Center to anyone needing training for their dog or a consistent safe place for their dog to socialize during the day.

We are so glad we went to K-9 Enrichment to get help with our dog who barked at most things - noise, boats, knocks, people, etc. etc. Ryan and Crystle were great with helping us understand how our dog processes information and how we could work with him to get him to be less afraid and reactive. They have a very friendly, calm, and encouraging approach which makes it a great experience. They provided a lot of information and tools, while also making it clear that we needed to be dedicated on our end to spend time reinforcing what they went over in each training. We made a commitment to this and the results were amazing! We even had several friends and neighbors notice the difference in our dog. We are grateful to have met Ryan and Crystle and also for the increased connection with our dog. We highly recommend K-9 Enrichment!

K9EC is the absolute best place to bring your dog. If you are looking to build a bond of trust and companionship, there are no better people than Ryan and Crystle and the staff at K9EC to help you on your journey with your furry friend. When I got my German Shepherd puppy, Zero, I knew I needed training. So I looked around and tried out some different places. Other trainers insisted I use painful "corrections" and a prong collar to manage his size and behavior. But my heart told me there had to be a better way. When I met Ryan during Zero's first evaluation appointment, I immediately knew we were in the right place. Not only do they do an excellent job training and working with Zero, more importantly, they take the time to teach me. Changing my long held beliefs and ideas about how to interact with my dog, and teaching me how to communicate effectively, replacing correction with mutual understanding and trust. Having brought Zero to K9EC since he was four months old, I can say with certainty, I owe the incredible, rewarding relationship we share today entirely to their compassionate expertise. I would give them a million stars if I could!
