(from Google)We ended up taking the 12 mile bike ride, Which included going six miles one way and then turning around and coming back the other six miles. It was a pretty good ride, not too crowded but somewhat scenic. It runs along a canal, so you'll see some wildlife. We saw turtles and cranes and snake birds and white. Ibis and sandpipers. There are quite a few roads to passover, but they're all pretty safe. There are also many places to stop and sit along the way.
Nice bike ride along the canal, just have to cross some major roads
Nice walking path. Not a lot of shade. Like everyone else in the reviews has said, the large street crossings are strange and kind of confusing. The path was decently busy when I went so I passed lots of people. Everyone was respectful.
Berry nice level paved trail with a few easy bridges over the canal. Great for biking and hiking. Lots of wildlife viewing along the way. No problem with dogs. Partial shade on parts of the trail with some small pavilion stops along the way. Several trailhead parking areas.
7.4 miles long, narrow bike and walking path along the canal, I started at Colonial Blvd walking south. Past the Page Airport and saw plenty of birds, fishes and other wildlife. Very open so bring a hat, benches and tables with cover at various points. I walked about 3 miles down before turning around to walk back. If you're looking for exercise, get some steps in or just kill time ( I was waiting for my car to be serviced). It is worth a try.
