(from Google)This is falsely advertised as a trail when in reality it is private property with a small patch of public land a.k.a. grass. Very disappointed. Not worth naming as a location on Google maps. This is especially confusing for people from out of town who have no way of knowing that this is not a real location. Will also add that it was very difficult to get to and is situated behind a seemingly abandoned church.
Absolutely lovely place to just take a stroll and be in nature. Quite a few seating options around the lot. Plenty of parking and shaded areas. There was also a small little nature trail that I believe the children made, it was sweet!
I never knew that I visited this place until I got an email from Gurgle. I was here. It was a Cub Scout get together on church property. This was the night of the Green Moon, the following night being Halloween and the Blue Moon. It was a very pleasant setting. Mars as visible above and to the right of the moon. I really don't think the we were in theEco-Preserve. I tried to find my collection of Gary Larsen cartoons and refresh my knowledge about Animal Preserves, but I couldn't lay hands on it. Keep in mind that this rating is for the church property. I am not sure that I would give a 5 star rating to their theology. I don't know anything about HEP.
Cute little garden to walk through. Saw some pretty plants and my daughters liked taking pictures. There was an annoying dog at the gate that decided to bark at us the entire time we were on that end of the park. 🤦♀️🤦♀️
Lovely place to walk around and enjoy nature. Several pleasant seating areas. Birds, flowers, butterflies, breeze. You can't ask for more in my opinion. Also...the biggest elephant ear plant I've ever seen, just minding its own business in the compost pile. Lol.
