(from Google)Worse expérience ever. The vet refuse to give me an antibiotic for my cat who has blood on her urine and was completely fine otherwise. Instead he told me that my cat was « A DIVA » and brought me back home with a définition of « idiopatic cyst » of course I paid for urinary analysis. The day after he call me again telling me that « ho yes there is plenty of bacteria so to provide antibiotics it will be 400$ for a culture. » but as mentionned to him, I am now in an other city, my cat is now being for 3 days with blood on her urine and no solution from them. Hopefully I went to the emergency to Bridgeton Veterinary and they did an amazing job. They understood that I was running out of time, that I knew my cat and they were able to prescribe the appropriate antibiotic. They did not insult me or my cat, they did not send me back home with no solution. They did not make me waste my time and my money. I do strongly recommand then and I do strongly recommand you to avoid the vet I saw yesterday.
In the last several months, I've had to spend a lot more time here than I would prefer, dealing with my cat's health issues. The only thing that has made that process bearable is how excellent the staff has been. From the vets to the techs to the front desk staff, everyone here has been dedicated, kind, passionate, and professional. They have made a very difficult process so much easier, and I'm so grateful to them for it.
Holy cow this place is amazing. Having little experience with vets, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I was just shy of looking up how much I could sell my 22 year old son for. But the team here was not only friendly (Nolan was so polite and calming), but also knowledgeable and beyond fair. I went home with both my cat and my son!! They helped me help my baby who has been struggling. We’re fortunate enough that there seems to be an easy solution and I am so relieved. Dr Tiau and the hospital manager (I’m so sorry I didn’t get your name) were amazing. I can’t say enough positive things about our experience here. Thank you for all of the help you provided, not just for Piper, but for me too.
My sweet cat Salem was viciously attacked recently by a cat that came into our backyard. I took him to this location (Raleigh Hills) for the first time, desperately needing help. The front desk (Nolan & Daisy) were so incredibly compassionate and kind to me and Salem right away. Sky the vet tech was also incredibly kind and supportive. Dr. Esparragoza was very thorough and helpful in explaining the plan to get Salem the care he needed. They were able to get him in the next morning for surgery with the medical director, Dr. Morse. As someone who also works in the medical field (with humans) I am a bit hypersensitive to staff’s demeanor based on the standards I hold myself and my staff to with patients. The day of surgery when dropping Salem off, the RN Miranda came out and went over the care plan to make sure I was well informed. Answering all questions and giving reassurance and support. I appreciated her light hearted humor in such a scary situation. I received a call from staff for an update on Salem’s status while he waited for his surgery. They mentioned that if he was neutered and microchipped while already under, it would actually be $400 cheaper due to their anesthesia package. Once the surgery was over Dr. Morse called to give me a status update. She was very detail oriented when explaining what had been performed during the procedure as well as the recovery process/timeline. All my questions were addressed and I was given the assurance needed to know he was going to be okay and already doing better. When I picked him up that afternoon, everyone continued to be so incredibly kind and supportive. I received a follow up call to check in on him the next day. I am forever grateful to the entire staff for giving my baby the best possible care. He is on post-op day 4 and doing so much better. I am so thankful that I found a place where I know he’ll always be loved and cared for. 🖤
Our German Shepherd puppy has been coming here and Rebecca has been fantastic with him. He is an energetic dog, and the staff at VCA Raleigh Hills know exactly how to handle him. They are knowledgeable and have answered all of our questions, and given us some great recommendations. Bandit and his people are thankful. 🐾
