(from Google)Nice trails and cute small sculpture area to the right from the sign. The engraved board game is amazing! So much detail, my kids enjoyed playing it a few times. It would be nice if it had a small picnic area near that space.
This is a great spot to hike if you live in the area! The parking is free, the lot holds about 20 cars, the trail starts really easy but has great views of the surrounding mountains, and the trail is easy to follow. The whole loop is about 5 miles but it's only about 500 feet of elevation gain.
Great views and easy to get to hike in FC
Good place for a hike with the dog. Not too busy during the week
Basic trailhead. The trail starts off smooth and flat for the first mile before climbing the rocky ridge for some great views of Fort Collins.
