(from Google)We love it out here. Very peaceful and we bring our pups for the walk.
I walked with my two pups a morning in December and we only encountered a few people. We had a peaceful time and I appreciated the trash bin in the parking lot for dog pooh, there was also a station with free doggie bags.
Great place to throw a line or take a walk. The place makes you feel like you’re further from town than you are. I love this town.
Great place to get a good walk in and see some birds. We also saw tracks that we believe to be from coyotes and a cougar. There are multiple paths you can take, depending on how long you want to walk. It's all unpaved, so the paths are currently mixed snow, ice, and mud (mid-February).
It is nice to walk on the North side of the river with no bicycles whizzing by. Woodsy with lots of hawks and other birds of prey hunting in the ponds. A few benches are welcome spots to rest and drink some water. Usually only a few people on the trail
