Family Pupz Dog Training

Tanya is great, she is patient and has good insight about troubleshooting. She was also really good at helping me keep up hope that my Tiny Terror Terrier could ever be potty trained. After 2 years of failure I turned to her and after about 6 months of hard work he has only gone once inside over the last 4 months. He is the most challenging dog I've ever had, but Tanya helped me keep up hope and sanity!

We cannot say enough great things about Tanya and Family Pupz! We did her in-home school training package for our dog, Barley, and the results have been amazing. Tanya’s positive training approach really stood out—Barley learned so much while staying happy, confident, and engaged. The biggest bonus for us was how convenient the program was. With a busy schedule, having Tanya come to our home made all the difference and allowed the training to happen in Barley’s real environment. Since completing the program, Barley has shown huge improvement and has an entirely new set of skills we use every day. Tanya is knowledgeable, patient, and clearly cares deeply about both dogs and their people. We’re so grateful for her help and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for effective, positive, and flexible dog training.

We thoroughly enjoyed working with Tanya for dog training and so did our puppy, Enzo! Tanya was patient with our questions and explaining different tips for trouble shooting areas such when our puppy was guarding resources, chewing on furniture, jumping on guests as well as strategies for basic manners, leash walking and polite greetings. We appreciated her training handouts, summaries of our training sessions and links to her video library. Additionally we learned management skills as owners and to have our puppy sit with duration in a variety of contexts. We recommend Tanya for dog training and coaching!

Tanya is all-around phenomenal! I am in the veterinary field and have had a lot of exposure to dogs (and cats), but still learned so much from her sessions. She was always friendly, knowledgeable, and full of resources. She would meet at my house or a park - whatever worked best for my pup and me. By the end of our sessions, both my pup and I walked away with some quality training! I have never used a trainer before, but Tanya surpassed expectations and I will definitely use her in the future if any new doggos come into my life. 10/10!

We recently completed a 12 session package with Tanya, working on correcting leash pulling with our 3 year old high energy pointer rescue pup. Tanya was great both working 1:1 with him and supporting us with coaching to know how to work with and respond to him and trouble shoot on our own for both practice between sessions and in moving forward post training sessions. I appreciated Tanya’s responsiveness, positive attitude and realistic approaches!
