Great area, ton of construction happening & Restrooms were closed. Otherwise, 5 stars!

This would be a cool little spot if they could cut down on the amount of people just camped out. It's a bummer because you can tell the city does a lot of upkeep on this area, and riverside is a nice path to go on. It's just frustrating to take a walk or bike ride after seeing the remains of stolen locked up bikes, homeless people camped out blaring music and plugging their stuff into the little amphitheater area, all the people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot, and knowing that people get their cars broken into in the various riverside parking lots. it's an area I wouldn't walk as a women alone deeper in some of these paths without some sort of deterrent. I'm not saying I don't feel a level of compassion for transient people but there are so many resources in other areas of junction.

It's a beautiful trail, that's well paved and in a nice area, about 10ft to 20ft from the river. You can't always see the river due to the amount of brush along the sides, but there are some small hiking paths through the bushes if you would like. There's some well maintained benches along the trail, and it's wide enough for 4-5 people to walk side by side. It's not shaded so I suggest coming prepared with sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, etc.

Everything you want to do : just chilling, walk on the paved or dirt trails enjoying the river and the flowers. You can jog or bike! There's mountain bike practice obstacles course, skate park. I wish we stayed a little longer.
