This place is horrible. Ever since the business was sold they offer horrible customer service. The last time I scheduled an appt they asked me to reschedule 3 times. Amanda is very inconsiderate. She doesn’t take into consideration what a customer has to do to get off of work to make the appt. The office sends me emails to refill heartworm medication. When I try to purchase the medication on line they deny the claim because they don’t have record of my dog taking medication . Really?? My dogs are up to date on shots and received a negative heartworm test in July but they have no record of my dog taking the heartguard. If that were the case then why do they send me refill notifications. A refill symbolizes the medication was taken previously. Stay Away from the vet clinic. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! 12/19/25* It seems Amanda office manager is on a power trip. Which is fine, more power to her. Here is proof Cooper has been on heartguard meds. The attached picture will prove it. The fact that they have no record of Cooper taking heartguard is a bold face lie. I rest my case! They are incompetent.

We've talken our previous dogs, as well as our current fur child to Vista Hills Animal Hospital. We have always been treated well by the staff, from technicians to doctors. This is a full service animal hospital where your fur babies will be well taken care of. I also like that they have a nice grassy and shaded area out front where you can also wait as your dog happily romps around to be called in.

Horrible review for this hospital, staff up front never answer the phone during the day and are rude over the phone. During 1-2pm they state their in lunch but they don’t state that in their voicemails or website that they close so your just left going in circles. They take your payment at the door for tests but never call you back for results. Multiple times (3 tests) they have gas lite me and my wife that they call for results and leave “messages” when they don’t and stating that we are lying. Proof in my call log. It’s always a different doctor so they never really get your dogs medical history and they will have you waiting until the problem gets worse before they do anything. Had a dog that got tested for a tumor that got bigger after getting tested and didn’t get the results till after 2 weeks of us calling for results!!!! They wouldn’t release them because “a doctor needs to speak to you” but they never do… By then her tumor got so big that they told us “we can’t operate go somewhere else”. Our dog ended up dyeing due to negligence. Should have gone to another hospital from the get go , regret it horrible…. Been my dogs primary vet for 11 years but never coming back. If there is a manager to speak about this I would be glad to cause this was ridiculous….

Had a great visit at Vista Hills animal hospital, Dr. Crider was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She thoroughly explained my pup’s condition and gave me several different options. Great service and care. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.
