(from Google)I’ve brought my pup in for training here including group classes, day train and even privates. The training team is absolutely phenomenal and offers so many tools and advice to help your pets. My dog basically jumps out of the car when she knows where we are! I owe the peace in our home to Jen and the Pet Village training team. If you would have told me last year that my pup can be off leash in controlled settings, I would have never believed you. They keep it real, positive and encouraging. Thank you Pet Village!!!
I have boarded my dogs at Pet Village several times, but my last two experiences were so horrific that I will never return—and I feel obligated to warn other pet owners. The previous-to-last time I boarded them, I requested baths before pickup. When I arrived, they made me wait a long time, and then handed my dogs back to me soaking wet. One of them was coughing so badly that I had to take her straight to the vet. Because of that, the most recent time, I specifically asked them not to bathe my dogs. Despite that, they kept insisting. When I came to pick them up, they took forever to bring them out, saying they were “cleaning them a little.” When I finally received them, they were covered in poop and urine, which made it obvious that their cages had not been cleaned at all. But the worst part—and what still shakes me—was that one of my dogs was almost dead. She was shaking uncontrollably, wouldn’t move, and looked completely traumatized. I rushed her to the vet, who told me she had lost a significant amount of weight, was anemic, and that if I hadn’t brought her in when I did, she would have died. This place is, without exaggeration, the worst boarding facility I have ever encountered. They do not take care of the dogs, they don’t seem to care if the dogs eat, and they clearly don’t maintain clean conditions. Before boarding them the first time, I made an appointment to see the facility. Everything looked clean and the boarded dogs looked fine. Now I understand why they only allow tours by appointment—because what happens behind the scenes when no one is watching is unacceptable and dangerous. I trusted Pet Village with the care of my dogs, and they nearly cost one of them her life. Please, for the safety of your pets, go somewhere else.
Our dog had boarded here 3 times before unfortunatley this was their last. 1st time she came back with no kibble left over (we left like 5 pounds worth) im sure they just save it for themselves. 2nd she boarded she came back terribly matted in her tail even though I had paid for a bath, you dont brush for a bath lol? Had to cut off all the horrible matting that occured in such a short span. This last time, dog came back with bad kennel cough and fleas. They couldnt bother to let me know there had been an outbreak.
I have been taking my German Shepherd here for classes. I’ve been really impressed by the confidence and experience of the staff around any dog. They are very friendly and came out a greeted my pet. She stayed two days and was well cared for.
Took my adult dog to Pet Village for their 8-week Novice training course. Overall super experience! Obedience courses are group classes held in a huge, indoor, fully enclosed arena with a concrete floor. Jen, the lead trainer, manages to choreograph the training of multiple dogs (and their owners) with aplomb and patience. We all ended up performing better than we expected, with both dogs and owners happy. Highly recommend!
