I wish I could leave a zero star. My wife and I signed up for a training class for our puppy, waited 3 weeks and then they called us 10 mins before the training and canceled on us because there were "not enough people in the class" ... its like, didnt you know that the day before?? We will never go to this Petco again for anything.

This is my local store. Unfortunately, compared with the Mission Viejo store, it’s is much smaller and incredibly disorganized. For example, they have an entire row of shelves dedicated to dental hygiene bones, yet, they leave the only bone that is known to have better ingredients from a company they promote. This makes no sense. This is not only a better product, but they have limited size selection and keep it in the shelf behind all the other dental bones. Now the store has moved all dental products to the same shelf. Interestingly, the Merrick Fresh Kisses brand is solely represented by one size (medium). Again, just disappointed by how this store seems to work at the minimum level.

Okay so it's really sad here. I've seen some sad things but this is on my top 10 list. A good portion of the animals are kept in small spaces where others of their species have either eaten them or just killed them. The beta fish are treated horribly. There literally just left in these small containers the size of a small chick fil a Mac and cheese. The reptiles are in small enclosures with more than 1 of their species which shouldn't be the case. The workers are very kind but I hate the way the animals are treated and kept. Someone please help these poor guys

Employees are very helpful. I come here to buy specialized frozen dog food, and they always seem to have it in stock at this location. Store is clean.

Do not take your pets to be groomed here! My mother took her Goldendoodle in last week, and they literally hurt him in not only one but 2 ways. They tried saying a cut on his paw was already there, despite the fact that: 1.) We had just literally gone to the vet where we have documentation he was perfectly fine even on his paws. 2.) They carelessly took a trimmer with little to no guard and shaved right on his private parts.... Would you ever do that to your own genitals? Absolutely 0 care or common sense when dealing with an animal.... Please please please do your self a favor and support a mom and pop groomer even if it means paying more or driving more, you will save money from not having to go to the vet 3.) They started the haircut and stopped a bit of the way through . If the cut on his paw wasn't fresh, why was there fresh blood? Absolutely 0 scabbing too, indicating it was something recent. He's got really bad inflammation and irritation now from this, and it's gotten worse than shown in the picture. Petco better believe we will be pursuing reimbursement if we have to take him to the vet. We have all the documentation we need to prove that this was you guys, including the pet inspection card you filled out AFTER shaving his private parts and hurting him. Do not trust these places with your pets!!!
