River Legacy Parks East

If you walk the pavement walkway plus the trail youll get about a mile at most. It has a really nice playground just too close to the major street. Offers plenty of picnic area with grills. I did see some people trying to fish so it may be a thing. I did see kids doing some football training i do believe its great space for that. It has an area for sand volleyball. Plenty of parking.

Looks like such fun! My childhood self would have loved this challenging, but safe-appearing, place. I would love to bring my young GG kids here! 😀

My grandsons loved playing here! The tree like playground was solid and safe. I Even climbed up both sides of the man-made tree and felt comfortable at 59 years and 230 lbs. Lovely area for a family picnic and a smaller playground across the park for littler tikes.

I was so surprised to find this bit of wilderness here in the metro area. I went down a vague trail and didn’t see another soul till I went back to my parking area. Very cool atmosphere for when you want to get away from all the hub bub.

One of the best parks in Arlington. it's literally huge. you can go for walking and the bike trails are really awesome. A beautiful bike ride with a beautiful nature.
