(from Google)Parking is limited, it is a very short and small hike. I probably missed something. A random cart with clothes was randomly at the trails. So didnt feel comfortable enough to explore off the path.
Short gravel loop with two small bridges and a few unmarked side trails that disappear into the trees — wasn’t sure where they led tbh. The main path is easy to follow and well-maintained, but I did notice quite a bit of litter tucked in the brush, which takes away from the experience a bit. The walk is pretty short. In fact, my commute here took longer than the trail itself. That said, there are a few infographics along the way if you’re into local geology, flora, or environmental facts. Giving it 4 stars out of respect for the City of Arlington’s upkeep, but I’ll probably bring my dogs to longer trails next time 🥾
Great little hike, if your needing to walk a meal off. Lots of wild life ( birds)🙃🙃
Great place for a balance of "beaten pathways" and undisturbed nature and discoveries....in particular for rockhounders. We found many different sizes of selenite in certain locations and the kids were amazed it was right there for them to discover themselves. A lot of opportunity to learn in a beautiful environment .
Wonderful walking trail! Beautiful flowers and rocks (I know, right? Beautiful rocks? It’s true.) and evidence of wildlife. The walking trail itself is short - you can do a loop in ten minutes or so. There are multiple off-shoots to follow, though, and explore for much longer. Several Pokéstops and gyms, too 😉
