DO NOT USE THIS VET. The vet Barta is extremely rude and unprofessional. I brought my pet here AFTER calling to schedule an appointment, and making it clear that he had a wound that would need to be cleaned. Arrived and spoke to a tech. my cat was in a cat carrier, i never took him out, so you couldn’t really see him inside of it, and especially not his injury. after less than 10 minutes the vet tech returns stating that my cat needs surgery and to go to the front to reschedule..?? THEY NEVER EVEN LOOKED AT MY ANIMAL. I asked to speak to the vet. Barta immediately came in hostile. Telling me that my animal needed surgery when no one ever even looked at him nor would even remove him from his carrier. When I asked why she came to that conclusion considering SHE HADNT EVEN SEEN MY PET she said it was because they did not have the proper items to treat him (which again I don’t know how she would know that without even seeing my cat). why would that not be said when I made my appointment and explicitly explained the reason for my visit. 100% lack of preparation. i’ve used this vet for years and this was my first experience that has ever been THIS HORRIBLE. Barta is terrible at her job and does not care about your pet. She just wants your $$. No other vet that i’ve dealt with at this location has ever been this unprofessional. I left and took my pet to another vet where he was immediately seen and treated.

Place was great until it wasn’t! I’ve spent hundreds here since December. They called to schedule my dog to get neutered she said oh my dog needs his flu shot before they can neuter. I said wait a minute here…they wanted to do bloodwork $185 great EKG great but they won’t do it until he has a flu shot. Are you kidding me? Hung up the phone called another vet, a third of the cost no flu shot required. So they really just ran Off a customer over a damn flu shot. I had a Yorkie that lived 15 1/2 years never once had a flu shot. I feel like they’re just trying to nickel and dime me now. So yeah we’ll be going elsewhere now! Shame because I really did like the people that worked there. Oh and mind you, we was just in there last week for an upset stomach and now not a word about this so-called flu shot

I have been taking my dogs here for a few years now, and I really like this clinic! I feel the pricing is reasonable, and I appreciate that they never try to sell me on anything, are very transparent with their costs, and objective as to what tests or items should be added to the care. They're also really great with my dogs, and mind you, I have a chihuahua and a pitbull mix. They can handle them but are still very caring. It's very easy to get ahold of them, and the open hours are really convenient (they're open weekends). Would really commend this vet!

We have been using Atascazoo for going on 10 years I believe. They have been there through thick and thin with our 2 cats. They caught a tumer in our 15 yo cat that the 24 hour emergency vet missed. Unfortunately we had to say goodbye to Thumper that year. They have been very kind and supportive. Our other cat Moetoes is now 19, they treat her as if she is the only cat they treat and shower her with attention when we come in. The staff and Dr.'s are amazing! 😺😻

First of all I just wanted to say I am incredibly thankful this place was open on a Saturday & Sunday. Along with that the staff alone have been some of the nicest veterinary staff I have encountered. They had no issues letting me be a part of my pups check up, and let me ask a trillion questions with no issues. They let me see my estimate first and we talked about what my pet needed most and let me choose off the receipt's. The staff was very accommodating especially being short staffed. They loved on my pet and made sure she was safe like she was their own. We will be back. ❤️
