Ace Grooming By Sara

My anxious 12 year old dog really struggles with nail trims but Sara is so patient and works with him to build his trust. He went from crying and flailing to calm and sitting still due to the work she has put in with him. We also have gained another pup in the family who is also anxious especially around new people. We took him there for the first time yesterday and he did great thanks to her compassion and patience. Highly recommend.

I’ve been taking my dog here for nearly 4 years. It takes longer to drive there and back than it does for Sara to finish the nail trim! My dog is sensitive and Sara always handles her her kindness and is always very accommodating and professional!

Drop in nail trim and grind for my dog. She yelped during the grinding, and groomer called out her name. When I inquired, no reason was given for the yelp except maybe she is a “drama queen”. Next morning, I noticed a spot on her rib cage with no hair and black skin. Vet shaved around the black skin to find large area of bleeding under the skin. Vet concluded she was hit by grinder snagging out hair and causing severe burning from abrasion and heat. A month to heal. Scar and no hair.

I brought my dog here for the first time and I will be going no where else! My doggy has really bad anxiety about grooming and other groomers didn’t seem patient or had enough time to take care of his grooming needs but Sara was absolutely amazing!!! She got him cleaned up and looking so handsome! I cannot express my gratitude and how impressed I am with her service! I also know he was comfortable with her because he is usually super vocal when I pick him up from anywhere but he was excited to see me but I felt like he wasn’t as stressed like he usually is when I leave him with a groomer. I also am so happy that she was accommodating and very attentive to what my dog was timid with. I highly recommend!!!!! I added the before and after, not fully showing him but the difference is undeniable :)

I have been bathing my cattle dogs at Ace Grooming for 20 years, wash stalls were clean and tidy. Sara always adjusted the water temperature and checked to see if I needed anything. I now have a little female rescue Pomeranian Mini Schnauzer mix, and Sara is the only person who has been able to trim her nails without her feeling stressed. Sara is so smart and intuitive. I see how much she loves all these animals. We won’t go anywhere else.
