My daughter was in town to visit for the weekend. Her dogs got into a fight, and one of them ended up with a wound that needed medical attention. We called the clinic. They were able to treat him right away. They were professional and compassionate. They will definitely be our local vet if we need service again.

We moved here almost two years ago. This clinic was close to our home and had great reviews. We'd only brought our guys for routine check ups and vaccinations. But a week ago today, we had to make the tough decision to proceed with helping our Bugzy move on to a much less cruel life. Bugzy was 16, and not a small dog. He decline so much in just a couple months and spent every waking minute fighting to live. No more energy for a wagging tail. No more sweet licks while sitting or laying next to him. Only barks to get help to go outside and potty. And barks to come back inside if we weren't already out there waiting on him. They say have someone come to your home and that it's better for them. But the room we were put in went from a clinical room to a comfy place to help our guy find that rainbow bridge. There was no rush to get it done. There was no rush to leave him there for them to prepare him for returning to us. There was soft explanation of processes. And even more compassionate words from a face who already absorbed our painful cries of letting go. Dr Jones and all the ladies there that day were so perfect. Today I returned to pick him up. It hurt to open the box but there was more love and compassion from the people who cremated him written in a card and also beautiful sentiments of seeds to plant near where we lay him to rest. Before we pulled into the drive, we checked the mail and there was another card from the clinic and staff. Not just names signed as if routine protocol. But thoughtful and caring words specifically calling us by name....even Bugzy. This was my first ever experience of having to make this decision. And I'm glad we chose where love, compassion and empathy are genuine. Thank you Wellborn Veterinary Clinic. You are greatly appreciated. Taira (& Jason) Davis

Best vet I’ve ever been to. The entire team is friendly. When my dog was extremely sick and needed to be hospitalized, they accepted him with open arms. No one is lazy. No one is incompetent. Everyone listens to the concerns you have. Not only is the clinic great, their online pharmacy is too. It’s so convenient and prescriptions get shipped right away. Unfortunately I had to changed vets since I moved away from College Station but I 1000% would recommend this clinic. Fairly priced as well. You can trust them with your pet.

Dr. Gates was very kind and gentle when handling my kitty Dora. Our tech Courtney was very thorough in getting all the information that was needed to make the appointment go smoothly. Thank you all for taking such amazing care of my furry family members. You are greatly appreciated by our household! 12/13/24 Adding here after another wonderful vet visit. I heard they were running behind but our visits went so smoothly you wouldn’t have been able to tell. The tech and doctor were thorough and efficient.
