(from Google)Secluded. Lot of birds. There s a trail. Very quiet to enjoy nature at its fullest.
I literally just left due to a mountain lion crossing the trail. I was with a toddler & left immediately. Even though that happened I want to revisit with protection because it’s such a nice, secluded trail near the park with sightings of the lake.
Explored the Cottonwood Park trail on a beautiful day. It is a dirt loop trail about a mile long, well maintained. Lots of migrating ducks. Saw a red-tailed hawk being chased by crows. Trees are beginning their spring awakening.
This is a wonderful nature trail along the lake. Walk it several times a week with the dog. Great access for dog to swim. Not many people on it which is another plus. Even the weeds are pretty.
Actual trail but it’s mowed and has benches. About 1.9 miles. Not any parking where the map says but 1/4 mile further there’s a baseball field w lots of parking and another trail entrance. Behind the field are some more trails.
