VCA Animal Hospitals Urgent Care - Sugar House

I had another visit at the VCA, but this time it was at this location. I really appreciate the staff and Dr Bullett for taking a really good care of my cat Nigel. When they brought him back to me after his treatment, he seemed very calm, which tells me they handled him with care - that’s important to me, given that he’s a senior and a diabetic. The facility was very clean and the lobby zen and cozy! I appreciate the fact that the VCA hospitals (we’ve been to different locations) hold the same high standard providing good care to their patients and empathy to the owners. Thank you!

Our pup ran into a stick and got a gnarly little gash in his eye socket! He is an accident prone pup so he has been to many er vets and this experience was just lovely start to finish (minus the hurt pup). The vet tech was kind and gentle, as was the vet! They offered us snacks and drinks as we waited, gave my dog a good bag of treats and even checked in on him the next day! So grateful!

The facility was very clean, the staff was very responsive and respectful. They were efficient while still listening to all of our concerns compassionately and they were very kind to our pup. The vet was super knowledgeable and professional, knew exactly what questions to ask. She was able to put information together to catch on to a bigger thing going on with our dog before I noticed it and treat it before it got bad. I wish Dr. Michelle Shilling could be Zeke's primary vet instead of just the urgent care vet, but she's definitely the kind of doctor you want to see at a place like this. He's still recovering, but he's looking better already. Update: They sent a text message the next morning to give us a line to ask Zeke was and offer to answer any questions. They have a text line or a call number. This is some next level follow up that makes me feel super secure in following the provided instructions.

Had such a great experience at VCA! I already had a vet appointment booked for later in the week but my cat started acting very sick. I was super concerned and wanted to be seen the same day, thankfully I found VCA. With their virtual wait room it made it very easy to know when we would be seen. The staff was so incredibly friendly and helpful, They made my furry guy feel so loved and well taken care of. I felt at ease knowing it was nothing urgent and they were able to help him out.

This place is great! They are an urgent care vet so they are NOT CHEAP. This is top tier care, the staff took excellent care of my 13 week old golden doodle puppy, Toxic. They explained all the possible treatment options with pricing upfront and let me decide what I wanted to do. I asked them to do a thorough exam including X-rays. My poor baby had a broken jaw bone. The nurse explained the procedure; what to expect and the additional cost of the surgery. When all said and done the bill was a little less then I was quoted upfront, which was a nice surprise. Toxic is now getting used to the external fixator and healing up good so far. I’m very pleased with the results and the kindness showed towards my puppy and I in this situation. The staff was kind, fast and efficient, no time was wasted once we arrived. If your pet ever needs emergency care this is the best place I’ve been to yet.
