First time I’ve had the Fish and Chips…. So good! We got the tortellini, barrel burger, French dip w fries, and beer cheese for the appetizer! Food was OUSTANDING & Service was TOP SHELF… never ran out of drinks, Renee was so attentive, and she knows the menu like the back of her hand!!!

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at Sage & Barrel. Every detail was spot-on. The food was delicious and, most importantly, served hot and fresh, just the way it should be. The salads were the perfect contrast—cold, crisp, and refreshing, clearly made with fresh ingredients and real care. Our waitress truly elevated the entire experience. She was completely on it—attentive without hovering, incredibly personable, and just an all-around wonderful human being. You could tell she genuinely cared about making sure we had a great meal, and that makes all the difference. This is the kind of place that gets everything right: quality food, proper temperatures, excellent service, and a welcoming atmosphere. We will absolutely be coming back and expect this to become a regular spot for us. Highly recommend. 🍽️✨

My husband and I were in Gilbert for a photoshoot and decided to stop in to Sage and Barrel. It had the most positive reviews so why not! I loved the atmosphere and the playlist was top tier. Dawson was our server and he was great. He gave us a good rundown on the popular items on the menu and sold me on the pork chops. He was attentive and enjoyable to have as a server. For food, we started off with the beer cheese which was pretty good. The bread was a bit too salty for my liking, but still enjoyable. The main course was beautiful in appearance. Flavor wise, I loved the pork chop itself but the mushroom sauce was a wee bit too much salt and it overpowered the rest of the entree. My vegetables also needed a bit more cooking time so they weren’t so crunchy. But, I was able to still enjoy the meal. I also got the We The People Apple Pie cider to pair and that was delicious. My husband though enjoyed his burger. Would we come back? Yes, I’m always willing to try something else and give a place a second shot. Overall, we still enjoyed the experience.

First time here and we loved it! First off service was super friendly and accommodating. Our server Tia was awesome she explained how everything in house is homemade and gave us great recommendations, thank you Tia!! We got the onion rings which were insanely good, then also got wings, fried shrimp and beer cheese burger. Were from NYC so we had high expectations and they were def met! Thanks again!

We had a fantastic time here. We were celebrating a birthday and had a table of 9. We got there before the dinner rush. Our server was a professional. Very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu and food allergies. This place had beautiful decor. The black trim inside was gorgeous.
