Shaman's Way Dog Training

My husband and I got a puppy at 4 months old that needed help with all basics in puppy training. I have had bad luck with training in the past and wanted a trainer that specializes in positive reinforcement. I Googled dog trainers in my area and Shaman 's way pooped up. I liked that his motto was positive reinforcement training and liked all of his reviews stated this was the case. I have tried other means of training with past dogs and they were not successful. My pup and I have been working with Aeden going on our 6th week and my little girl is doing great. She can sit, lie down, stay in place, walk without (or with very little) pulling, I can say I have never had success with a dog not pulling or reacting while walking. To have a puppy walk beside me without pulling was huge for me. My pup is an American Bully and my goal is to make her a therapy dog and I have no doubt Aeden is going to help us make that happen. We still need to work on her recall, puppy nipping, greeting people and dogs in a polite manner, no jumping, and no bolting towards the door. For getting a puppy at 4 months old with no previous training and to see such huge improvements within 6 short weeks is very cool to see. Now we as their humans have to put in the hard work as well and Aeden shows us how to work with our fur babies when they are not in class. I would highly recommend Aedan with Shaman's Way for a gentle and kind approach to dog training.

Aedan has been a pleasure to work with. We have seen a vast improvement with our boy Fenway after every session. Aedan is attentive, focuses on the areas that you feel need the most work, and always has a method or reference to what it is you’re looking for. Fenway has come a long way in his training, as have we. He has taught us that it’s just as much about us as it is the dog. That if we are a consistent with our training, we will see the results and that has certainly been the case. Looking forward to future training sessions with Aedan!

Aiden is an experienced and kind dog trainer. We needed his help to train our two corgis and thanks to his expertise they improved every day with us following up on the training he showed us. Our puppies gravitated towards him and responded to his training. By following the basics, they learned important lessons of checking in or going to their place which is improving their overall behavior. They have significantly improved and are ready for their next lessons.

We absolutely love Aeden! He has so many different programs for whatever training needs you and your dog have. We completed the therapy dog program which included three Canine Good Citizen certifications and could not be happier with how everything went! He is very kind and his approach to training is exactly what I was looking for. Our training consisted of in home and field trips to places like dog parks and retail spaces. Me and my pup are more confident and have learned so much from Aeden. The Stride and Serve pack is an added bonus to continue to train and meet other dogs and their owners all while supporting great causes. I am beyond happy with our training and will continue to work with Aeden as my dog continues to grow!
