Hounds Town - Pensacola

We have always relied on pet sitters coming to our home when we travel and never considered boarding until I discovered Renee and her amazing team at Hounds Town. From the very first call, Eva was friendly and thorough, walking us through everything we needed to know for our initial consultation. The staff greeted us at the door with warm smiles and were eager to meet our pups. They did an evaluation to make sure our dogs were a good fit with the other daycare pups, then offered a free 7-day daycare trial with our boarding on Friday which was such a thoughtful touch, giving our dogs time to adjust to the new environment before their first overnight stay. I also had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Renee Drinnon, whose hospitality and professionalism were truly top notch. The facility feels like a well-run, caring environment, clean, well-maintained, and genuinely attentive to the dogs in their care. What sealed it for me is knowing our pups will be together in a large Townhome suite with plenty of indoor playtime with other dogs especially important in Florida’s heat. We know they’ll be loved, active, and well cared for. Highly recommend Hounds Town to anyone looking for a boarding experience that actually feels like home.

We were really nervous with bringing Ellie to doggie daycare. Hounds town staff are amazing. This is the first time Ellie has been around in a setting like this and they are helping her adjust to it. They keep us updated on how she is doing. She loved her bubble bath! They have plenty of play space to keep the dogs in groups. I loved her first day report card.

I love that Hounds Town Pensacola staff clearly loves the pups that come and personally are committed to each pup having a spectacular time. I love too I have tet to see staff appearing bored or glued to their phones. Nearly every time I drop off or pick up, especially in the late morning or early afternoon, staff may not always be in the front lobby when I first arrive, because they are actively playing and caring for the pups (or cleaning up after them). Both my girls LOVE the staff too. That says so much about those working at Hounds Town. After a week of daily play times at Hounds Town Pensacola, both get so excited to see the place, knowing they will have such fun there. When we pick them up they are so happy and full of puppy smiles but rarely stay awake in the way home more than five minutes down the road. Both sleep so well afterwards, a definite side benefit for these sweet fourth month old pups of ours! Another benefit: my shy pup is no afraid now of other pups. And my bold and gregarious girl has learned to be respectful of other pups. doogy day care has been so good for them in developing good manners and being more able to learn and focus when training them after a day if play.

Hudson had the best daycare and spa day thanks to Hounds Town! 🐾 The staff went above and beyond to make his day extra special, and we loved getting his adorable report card showing all his new furry friends! He can’t wait to go back for more fun and belly rubs! 🐶💙
