Couldn't be happier with my experience with Leon Valley Veterinary Hospital. Dr Meier was awesome. Respectful, understanding and most importantly to me - he went above and beyond taking care of my dog. You can tell that is the focus of the practice. The cost seemed reasonable to me for the services. Will be my family vet going forward!

Dr. Meier and his team are so awesome!! I’ve brought 3 of my dogs to him all with different issues. He is a veterinarian I trust! You can really tell they care about our animals and love what they do. Thank yall for making some scary moments better by taking good care of my pets. 🐶💜

I had to let my sweet girl Ginger go after 17+ years of having her, we got when I was 10-12 years old (its been so long I don't remember). They were very kind and understanding of our situation and why I had set an appointment (there was a bit of miscommunication but that was my fault). They helped her pass gently to the rainbow road in the sky. It was extremely hard but they made the process a lot better than I could ask for, especially during such a stressful thing. Ill definitely be going to them for most things for my pet cats still with me.

it was my first time here and i’m not sure if i’ll be going back. the lady with dark brown hair and no glasses is rude. mind you i’m running late to my appointment but i call to make sure i can still be seen they say yes so when i get there i say hi i’m here for my appointment she doesn’t even say anything back a minute goes by i’m just standing there and she asks what’s the last name i tell her perez another minute goes by she takes my back asking the questions but on her last question she cuts me off and say he will be in soon. the doctor comes in followed by another dark brown haired lady with glasses she was real nice at the end of the exam she confirms my name and says so sorry i think my coworker confused you with other perez coming in. that was it for me i stayed clam and continued to be nice. i work in a office as front desk check in and i know how to make new patients feel welcome and clam and that girl needs better manners and some respect.

Dr. Meir was very compassionate and kind when I had to have my companion of thirteen years euthanized on Friday afternoon. He didn’t know this was the first time I have ever put a pet down, and his explanation of what to expect was very concise and clear. That really helped me know I was doing the right thing with my beloved dog Scooter. Every one of the staff was also compassionate, as they have known and cared for Scooter over the years. Thank you Dr. Meir and Staff who have never let me down.
