I've been excited to try this place for months, the social media looks great. Reservations were recommended so we made them for 630 for dinner and met some friends there. Well...upon walking in i felt like I just walked into a setup for a cheap wedding . We were the only table in the entire place. We left at 930 and were still the only table for dinner. Server was great. Unfortunately food not only took forever, but was pretty bad. This place should just be a bar..with bar food..embrace the hole in the wall concept. They are trying to be fancy..but looks cheap and food tastes like it's frozen from sams and just heated up. In fact the appetizer that took almost an hour to get..was all ice cold in the middle. We try to embrace local..but this spot needs a rebranding!

I saw a “date night” advertisement on Facebook and decided to give it a try! So I texted the number on the post and made a reservation. Since I was making the reservation for a date night with my wife, I decided to add on the $15 romance upgrade. Neither one of us had been there before so it would be a surprise for both. We live in Greeneville so it’s usually worth it for us to drive an hour or so for an adventure. When my wife and I arrived, there was a lot of cars lining the streets so we had to park a couple blocks away. Once in the restaurant we were greeted by the hostess and sat, right away. The place was very packed, usually a good sign. Our waitress greeted us shortly after and let us know right up front that it would be an hour wait for the food. No problem, we studied the minimal date night menu on the ride up. Our table was a tall wobbly cocktail table with bar stools. No big deal, except not only was the table wobbly, it also didn’t have the rose I had requested the day before when making reservations ( no big deal). Our reservation was at 7, we got our queso at 730. In addition to our romantic date night, it just so happened to be karaoke night, starting at 8 lol. About the time karaoke was starting we finally got our drinks. Without complimentary waters, that was much needed after raw dogging the spicy queso for half an hour. Our steaks came out at 830. Mine was cooked right, wife’s was over cooked. No big deal. Food was ok, cheesecake was the best part. We finally got our check about 9. Service was bad, steaks ok, cheesecake was good. Non romantic setting, 4 hour long drive for date night for some alright food. 1 and done for us.

Love coming to the Reserve!! Fun atmosphere for downtown Kingsport, and every time I've been it's been a great experience. I was just here and our waitress, Anna, was fantastic! Definitely worth paying a visit, especially when there are food and drink specials.

I’ve been to Kingsport, maybe 5 times for work travel. This time I was able to venture into the downtown area. My hotel recommended this location for great cocktails, and food. I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere. They have a really large bar so perfect for people traveling/wanting to eat at the bar. I ordered the tequila / rosemary cocktail it was wonderful! It’s very rare that bars have rosemary simple syrup, so I was pleased to see that. The bartender was very sweet and accommodating. I’m giving five stars because overall I will absolutely be back! I would like to add though The Ahi Dinner needs a little help. The tuna was very thinly sliced (Most Ahi plates come with thick slices of tuna since that’s the only source of protein and that’s really what you’re paying for) the rice tasted like it had chicken seasoning or something very butter/salt forward. I personally think just a straight white rice since the soy sauce provides more than enough salt for flavor would have been better. For $26 I feel it could be re-worked. The people next to me got sliders that looked amazing! So maybe next time I just stick to something a little more simple. Anyways! Great atmosphere, great bartenders and servers, and I would highly recommend for cocktails and dinner.
