Urban Brews & Creamery

My daughter and I were just diagnosed with celiac disease and can’t have any gluten at all, even cross contamination. Urban Brews is such a haven for us to come and have breakfast without needing to worry at all that we will get sick. They take great care to have a designated area of the kitchen for gluten free items, which is a huge deal for those of us with celiac. The biscuits are out of this world. If you brought me one and didn’t tell me it was gluten free, I would have no idea. They also have different pastries available that are gluten free. The apple muffin and the cinnamon roll are excellent. They nail it on their coffee as well. The perfect sweetness. The employees are so kind and friendly. Even if you aren’t gluten free, this is a place you absolutely need to try out.

If you’re looking for great coffee and even better cinnamon rolls, look no further than Urban Brews. Seriously, the most amazing cinnamon rolls I have ever had, especially the sugar cookie ones. Coffee is delicious and always prepared perfectly. Staff is friendly and goes out of their way to welcome guests and make them feel special. Did I mention the cinnamon rolls??? Seriously though, if you haven’t tried Urban Brews & Creamery, you’re missing out. They do offer many gluten free items, which I hear are delicious as well. Cannot recommend this place enough. Just go and try it for yourself, especially the cinnamon rolls. 😁

Was very excited I have heard how great this place is I go in and order three cinnamon rolls to surprise my grandkids after School. I purchased three cinnamon rolls and a very small coffee. It was $23. I get to the school to share with the little ones and there is no cinnamon in our cinnamon rolls. The coffee was Good, but it was a Very disappointing experience With the cinnamon rolls. I will not be returning.

We LOVE Urban Brews & Creamery. We go just about every Saturday morning with our little family! It’s our favorite local coffee shop in Kingsport. The coffee is amazing, the breakfast (specifically the cinnamon rolls) are out of this world! They make different flavors each week, but my favorite so far has been the Cookie Butter Roll! My go to coffee order is the “Oh Sweet Cinnamon Latte” and my husband is a “surprise me with whatever you like” kind of man. He has liked everything he’s been given! The staff at Urban Brews is what really makes this place feel like home. The owners Illy and Ariel always go out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. This is the kind of small business everyone should show love and support.

The moment we walked in, we were greeted by Iliana with a smile that lit up the entire city of Kingsport. We were a little late for breakfast, but they accommodated and satisfied our craving with a delicious sandwich and a handcrafted cinnamon roll that was perfect. The atmosphere is quaint and cool and the menu has a lot to offer, but it’s not overwhelming. From breakfast and lunch options, to coffee drinks, Ariel’s flavored lemonades, and rolled ice cream, you can’t go wrong. They are great people and their passion shows in everything they do. We’ll definitely stop in the next time we’re in the area.
