Sparkman Wharf

This area is a very nice spot in the city of Tampa Florida. Watch the cruise ships and sit in this open space enjoying the sunshine and the people watching. Live music is often played out in the open space where there is an actual stage. This place has a combination of outdoor and indoor with lots of shops and restaurants even an outdoor covered tiki looking bar in the middle of Sparkman Wharf. There’s ice cream and coffee shops and smaller outdoor food truck/container like vending area with refreshments and ice cream for sale. Great open space with artificial grass/turf where there are umbrella tables to sit at and enjoy while kids kick around a ball. Totally family friendly and dog friendly. My mother who has mobility issues was very happy getting dropped off near the ramp by the cruise ship area where the artificial turf was and it was super pleasant. Shade under a tree and there were even outlets to charge our phones as we had been at UTampa graduation and needed to recharge our phones. This place is absolutely a gem in downtown Tampa channel side area. Also the trolly is right near the wharf so that is a fun thing to do if you have time. It goes to Ybor and back if that’s something that interests some and not others then this is a great place for those who don’t want a trolly ride to sit and wait.

Such a fun spot! It was tons of food options! It is right on the water so hanging out there is comfortable. There are tons of places to sit and a bar with tons of beer on tap, wine, and a cocktail menu so something for all. Also places to shop in little boutiques and has music playing.

This place is very nice to sit and enjoy the view, very interesting in terms of varied food options, and even has attractions (bowling and an aquarium) nearby. The price is quite touristy and reasonably high, but for a snack I think it's worth it. There are public restrooms and several parking lots nearby.

Definitely a Vibe! Easy to find parking. They have lots of seating to sit, relax, enjoy a meal, take in the views and watch the sunset! Beautiful lights and decorations all around! Highly recommend for a date night🙂
