(from Google)Very nice fenced park in the downtown area; therefore, relatively small, yet still plenty of room for the dogs to run. Small and large dog sprayed areas with turf instead of grass. And a water fountain for the dogs.
It's a small park but it's usually kept clean. People here pick up after their dogs. It's not real grass so there are not a lot of bugs. It also isn't as soft as real grass either which probably isn't really good for the dogs.
Nice, fenced little park with big and small dog sections. It seems pretty popular with dog owners. Several dogs came and went while I was there. Artificial turf with poo bags, trash cans and even a charging station for your phone! Lots of poop left from previous, unscrupulous dog owners. So a lot of shiz to step in, a lot of brown snow. For dogs sake, clean up after your dogs people! If not for the poop it would be 4 stars.
I want to love this dog park. I brought my older dogs here with no issue. However now that I have a puppy I see that there are some major issues that could easily be fixed. The fence leaves a very large gap that sends balls into the street and parking lot. Really annoying to deal with. The gap under the fence is so large that small dogs and puppies can easily exit the park... into the busy road. That’s quite dangerous. Also who decided on wood chips for landscaping? Another thing busy puppies can’t help but munch on when the Midwest wind sends these scattered across the turf. Other than that, it would be a great little place to take your dog downtown. There is a small dog side and a large dog side.
Super fun, the turf was great! Only downfalls were the water was still turned off and there were no bathrooms close by. But my labs loved the High Energy side! Lots of dogs to play with and everyone was super nice
