Very nice trails, some portions are in full sun while others are shaded by trees. I did notice that some of the trails could use more markings, as I had to backtrack a couple times when following this map. That being said, they are still easy to follow. Other than that, it was a nice way to get some steps in and it was not very busy. Added some screenshots so that you have an idea of the kind of distance each side of the trails are. My favorite is the blue/white side!

Awesome trail for walking dogs, haven't explored all the trials yet since my dog is a puppy but we will be back Trails are all clear, seems well maintained and all trails are color coded and visibly marked. Very small parking lot, but plenty of space to park along side of the road near entrance.

What a great walking trail! After reading some reviews I didn’t know what to expect with how many miles of walking there would be so hopefully this helps. We walked a total of 4.08 miles. My husband and I did red trail, blue trail and yellow trail. All of which are beautiful Florida trails. There was a white trail that we saw while on the blue trail but we didn’t do that one.all trails are well marked with these colors . If you start from parking lot- red trail, then continue on to the blue trail and back to the start of blue trail it’s 1.5 miles so you can do as much or as little miles as you want. Each trail is a circle so you will start and end in same spot. When we were on both blue and yellow trail you will get to a point where you reach a paved road. This is one of the “ upper Tampa bay trails” so you also have an option to add that portion to your walk. All of the Brooker creek trails are unpaved well marked natural terrain. It’s January and chilly out so no bugs this time Of year, but we definitely think during the summer months there will be more mosquitoes and bugs. There were also a few areas that might have flooding during Rainy season. We were surprised that we didn’t see any wildlife other then squirrels and a few small birds which was odd because deer, rabbits, tortoises and so many birds species are pretty common for these preserves. As for parking, there are several parking spots and free to park. When we arrived at 8 AM there were two cars and when we left, we were the only car still there.great walking trail we will definitely be back while we are having this nice chilly weather.

I stopped for a quick walk. There are a few different trails to choose from. I went with red, a dirt path with pine needles. There is a lot of shade, and the trails are labeled. The labels are a bit confusing, so I used Google maps to help out. I walked about 1.3 miles after a couple of wrong turns. I'm guessing the red is about 1 mile. There were no bugs, and the end of the trail gets bumpy. Overall amazing, and I'll be back to check out the blue and yellow trails.

Inviting wide trails, that are smooth underfoot and sufficiently marked. The trails lead through a patchwork of floodplains, Cypress swamps, pine flatwoods, and prairies. A road, closed to motorized vehicles, cuts through the park offering a smooth surface for biking and skating. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't a boardwalk that would lead a bit deeper into the swamp and I am not the biggest fan of 12 foot wide trails but all in all a very relaxing walk with only few stretches of shade.
