(from Google)I feel like I let my Prince down. I took my dog to this Vet emergency three times in one week. In all total of more than a thousand dollars. When I got there my people was nice. My Prince was throwing up and had diarrhea. Each time they took my dog out of my eyesight to get his weight and check his vitals. Even when they gave him a shot which I thought would help him. They would take him out of the room. Where is stayed waiting. The Vet came in to tell me of her findings with Prince. She showed me Xrays soooo fast that I couldn't study them. Myself. The vet stated the xray showed had a empty stomach. And maybe some gastrointestinal. Then she told me nothing was wrong with Prince. And the shot that she gave him would stop his throwing up and diarrhea. So the last of the third times 2/25/2026 didn't know it would be my last time seeing my dog alive. He died. This makes me sad. Smh
We took our sweet boy here last night after he was attacked by another dog. We did have to wait for a little over an hour, which was expected with it being an emergency clinic and we understand there were other animals needing care as well. Once we got back to the room, the staff was extremely attentive and answered all our questions and addressed all of our concerns. They took good care of our dog and we were sent home with our minds at ease that he’s going to be okay. I am so thankful for the amazing vets here and the care that was provided.
I had never been here. My nerves were so shot and they were so sweet and so amazing and they helped me understand what was going on at the time. When we were leaving my baby was feeling much better. I appreciate everything y’all did.
Took my kitten here due to him having some issues with movement and eating, turns out he had a fever. The doctor quickly got me a quote on pricing and everything was done swiftly after. It’s been about 6 days and he’s doing great! Thanks again.
We took our Maggie Mae, (1 year old cat) to Points East 2 days after she received her yearly shots. The kindness and compassion from the receptionist, to the doctor were awesome. (And all the awesome people in between.) The Care Team did tests, bloodwork, and asked a ton of questions about Maggie's "normal" days. At the conclusion of the visit, the doctor narrowed it down to a reaction to the rabies shot that Maggie had recently gotten. Yes, the wait was long, because there were fur babies that were in life and death struggles and had to be seen immediately. I would want others to be patient if my fur baby had been that sick. Yes, the cost is affordable if you have a savings or credit card just for these types of emergencies. If not, I encourage you to put back a few dollars, to meet the need if it every comes up. In the end for me and my family, it was worth the cost to ensure our fur baby was safe, and we had a peaceful evening know Maggie would be fine until Monday to follow up with our regular vets. As you can see, Maggie is back to herself. Thank you to the Points East Veterinary team.
