(from Google)Have been taking my pugs to Animal Hospital for 40 years They are the best in my opinion. Very friendly and polite staff. They are so kind and caring with our beloved pugs.. Excellent care!!! Dr. Miner is such an excellent and caring person. She makes you feel you and your pet are her top priority regardless of how routine or critical the reason for your visit. Takes time to answer any questions you have and often answers them in her explanation of the situation so you don’t even have to ask. Would highly recommend to all who want the very best for your babies !!!! PS….Took our babies there back in the days of Dr. House….he could explain what was going on with your pet and clip their nails at the same time. He could do it so effortlessly that they hardly knew it was happening. He was one of a kind !!!!! PS: Plus they offer a discount for Senior citizens !!!
Well they may be great with medical for your pet. But with boarding, no!! I had my male bully and female pitbull boarded there. For four days. When we returned to pick them up. My dogs looks like they losted weight. I really think they wasn't fed and their boarding staff were afraid of them. Order for their nails to be trimmed. And they were not. Took pictures of it and they asked me to bring them back. And they will attempt to try again. Attempt?? So, I was charged for it. And they were never trimmed. Not a good impression for new customers.
We began using Animal Hospital of Pitt County in 2019 when we moved to Greenville. At the time, they were the closest vet to where we lived, and they had good reviews, so it was a no-brainer for us to start taking our two Golden Retrievers there. What a great choice it ended up being! I do not hesitate in giving them five stars; we can say only wonderful things about them. The vets and staff are unfailingly kind, professional, and utterly dependable. They also were a tremendous comfort to us when our Goldens came to the ends of their lives from the natural causes that so often afflict this breed, and it meant so much to receive mailed sympathy cards that had been signed by everyone on their staff. We have another Golden now because, well, how can you be without one once you've experienced them? And although we moved to the Bath area about a year ago, we are continuing to use this fine veterinary practice in Greenville. They truly feel like part of our family, and the kind of loyalty and confidence they inspire is its own testament to what a great vet care provider they are.
We recently moved to the Greenville area and adopted two kittens. When looking for a vet, Animal Hospital of Pitt County was recommended to me, and I've been very happy with their services. Dr. Swistek is very caring, transparent, and never makes appointments feel rushed. She truly cares about the well-being of her patients, and she's great at communicating important information in helpful, relatable ways. Also, I want to give a huge thanks to their team member Makiyah. She truly went above and beyond to help fit us in the schedule last-minute when I had an unexpected concern. She was a shining example of great customer service throughout the whole process, always remaining patient and kind even when it required a LOT of extra coordinating on her part. Other notable things: I appreciate the option to schedule appointments online or via phone, and the staff is great about price transparency by letting you know exactly what to expect before services are rendered. Everyone I've encountered there has been kind and helpful. I would absolutely recommend this practice to others.
Dr Currier and staff were amazing! I brought my 16 yr old Shepherd Mix in with an infected bite injury and huge abscess taking over her whole head. She was in horrible shape and I thought I might lose her. A Dachshund bite, smh. Dr. Currier really went out of his way to consider what was the best care for her, the least invasive and risky for her age. I was afraid this was going to cost me thousands of dollars but it was only a couple hundred and my old girl is recovering really well at home. He saved her without risky anesthesia and multiple fluid draining visits. We just moved to the area and now found a new vet!
