The staff here are wonderful. I love the availability and how close the location is to my house. I was able to get a same day appointment for my chihuaua who has not been feeling well. I will say the Vet assistant, Buford, was absolutely PHENOMENAL. I was impressed with her knowledge, skills and how personable she was. She explained everything so thoroughly and answered all my questions. The best assistant i have ever interacted with, i almost thought she was the Dr. She ensured I had a great first visit and is the main reason I will now be a customer. She didnt try to upsell me anything i did not need but also informed me of all the plans and what she thought could be best for us and really made sure my boy was being cared for properly. She ensured I had all the info so I could make the decisions myself. I appreciated that. I have only been to private practices before so i was worried about the pricing and care but i was very impressed! Dr. S was phenomenal as well and ensured that tito got the best treatment. I just received a follow up to check on him and was very grateful for that.

Our dog Abbie at age 12 and obese was running out of options for her arthritis especially in her knees. We have tried everything to get her to lose weight with minimal success. However, Banfield in Wesley Chapel now does laser treatments at a very reasonable cost. $100 first session and $49 ongoing. We have had huge success with the treatments. This is Abbie and best vet tech, David doing her 4th treatment. We saw a difference just after two treatments. We have a happier and energetic 12 year old again. She can now walk more and that’s helping lose the weight. She has had two torn ACL in her earlier years and knew arthritis was in our future, but she can live a happier quality of life at age 12 and onwards. I recommend Dr. Salpietra and having your dogs on even a minimal plan give you unlimited office visits for $20 a month Abbie is the second patient to do these with the first not even being able to walk, but can now and even get on the scale after only 6 treatments. Try this amazing treatment for your achy joint doggie!!! I suggest bringing their bed and they are super relaxed. It doesn’t hurt. Actually gives them a warm doggie massage. Abbie doesn’t fight me to come get these treatments now. Check them out! Better than acupuncture. If you need a vet this is it! I love the staff overall they are great and very helpful. They do what they need to do to ensure your pet is taken care of. The atmosphere is amazing everyone is so friendly and they are so personable. The passion everyone has made sure we got the paperwork neccesary to have a proper move. Very knowledgeable and show their love of animals. Thank you all very much. I know I was with you for a short time due to a move but how amazing it is to have met each and everyone of you. Thank you so much!

Banfield is able to help me keep my Pom in her best health which is very tricky with her current hereditary disease. We discussed best options for her health and my best option to pay without going bankrupt. I am thankful for the knowledgeable and supportive staff. They have several locations making it ideal if you travel!

Not happy with end of life treatment for a 6 month old boxer. Our tech was awsome. I felt the doc was cold and uncaring like it was just another day at the office. Also the font counter chick was annoying. We have other animals and would never consider bring to this location. Almost 500 bucks to put to sleep sick 6 month old dog for two syringes of drugs. This place is only open to collect money.
