(from Google)Such a great place to take your animals. they were all so nice here. Thank you for taking great care of my kitten
The employees are rude, look uncomfortable with the pets, and dress unprofessionally. If you still choose to come here, make sure you’ve got a lot of time to spare. It took me over an hour to get a single vaccine for my pup and there were others that had waited even longer than me. Will not come back.
Got my cat Sophia spayed today finally! Was much needed. Thanks to all the Staff there for being patient and informative and also being patient with my crazy cat. Trust me once she gets to know you she does not behave like that 😂. Thanks to you all ! God bless y’all best team ever !
Such lovely people, i trust these people with my dogs 100% ever since they were puppies. The lovely women have always made my dogs Jonny and Princeton feel very welcomed. They have taken care of them and made them feel loved from their best to worst. They always work things out with me and communicate very well to help ensure the best for my boys, i highly recommend anyone with a new pet to come here since they will make your pet and yourself feel welcomed and heard. I never have any complaints whatsoever for them even tho my boys can be a handful especially when together, I always truly appreciate all the hard work they put in.
I recently took my dog in for blood in his urine. The vet was a different vet than the first vet my dog had seen before. She needed all his information again, even though it should have been in the system. Of course, we’re doing social distancing, so she had to call me to explain the exam. She talked down to me and was very judge mental when I told her I could only afford $85, ($35 of which was the exam fee). She insisted that he was close to the end of life, even though he was barely bleeding. He had gone a few weeks ago for skin issues, and the first vet knew about the blood in his urine but didn’t seem to indicate he was in any real danger. The second vet interrupted me when I had questions, insisted that my dog needed about $600 in tests, one of which is an X Ray, (What? Why? For a urinary problem?) and she would not agree to just do a urinalysis. Her tone of voice was very condescending, and she made me feel like the worst dog owner ever. I asked her what she could prescribe for urinary tract and she said the only thing she could do was a painkiller without the tests. I told her I would bring my dog in again when I had more money for the Urinalysis. I thanked her for the prescription and actually said, “Thank you very much”. She ACTUALLY HUNG UP THE PHONE on me. Didn’t say “you’re welcome”, or “goodbye”. Just hung up the phone. So I went to this place because they offer low-cost veterinary services. But I’m starting to think I should pay the $15 more to go to a regularly priced vet. I loved the first doctor he saw at Thrive Affordable Animal Clinic in Grand Prairie. She loved my dog and was very sweet to him and informative to me. The second vet had zero “bedside manner” with animals and people. It would have been nice if she could have referred me to a company that does low cost tests for animals, or grants for people with financial difficulties. I lost my job due to COVID-19, and I started doing the gig apps to stay afloat (Lyft, Uber Eats, Favor, Shipt). I’m not making near what I was making at my FT job. Just a little compassion regarding financial decisions and the health of my dog would have been nice. It’s a scary time anyway, and I may end up losing my dog on top of it all. If anyone is reading this and knows of low-cost or no-cost testing services for animals, I would very much appreciate the info. My email is: shekinahr@gmail.com. Thanks!
