Robert K Rees Memorial Park

Extremely beautiful in the vespertine hours. You can walk out very far at the low tide come sunset before the water reaches waist deep. Technically closes at 8:30pm, but they don't kick you out until 8:40 if watching the sunset's afterglow matters for you. Be mindful of bugs, though; they don't bite or sting but they can make you itchy when they drink up your sweat.

Stopped here for a sunset dinner. We ate at the tables and then walked to the beach. We got a few pics before getting iut of the way of others so they could take pics as well. There was an older couple that was in the way of everyone taking beautiful sunset pictures. The park was very well kept and clean. Visitors were friendly

Nice little park, off to itself and not a ton of people. Very nice spot would recommend and visit again. We went during low tide and there were thousands of little crabs. You could hear them it sounded like carbonated bubbles popping. Really cool

Nice little beach if you are not looking for anything big and fancy. I swim every time I go but the Water never really gets deep. Check the tide first if you want to swim. I love this park. Its like 5 mins from my house and I can unwind even when I don't feel like going to a major beach Always a beautiful sunset Facilities are always clean The boardwalk is a beautiful little walk w a pretty ending view

This is a great place if you want to catch a quick sunset. Park closes 17 minutes after the sun set. Lots of locals and tourists there. Small beach better when high tide is in. We caught it low tide. Playground for kids, beach mat to walk out to beach. Boardwalk nature walk through mangroves and ends out at Gulf. Public restrooms, picnic tables and charcoal grills. Fun 45 min adventure to see the daylight end.
