If I could give 0 stars I would. The staff is great but the dog food aisles are disgusting. In January i bought a bag of dog food that had maggots, bugs flies in it. I thought it was an isolated incident so I went back today to get dog food and the aisles actually have those sticky fly traps because there so many moths and flies around IN THE MIDDLE of winter. Disgusting. I will never go back.

It's a good store, but on two occasions I went there between 10am and 12pm and there was no one working in the fish department. I asked, and they said no one is there now, come back at 1 pm. I choose not to go back at all with that policy.

This review is long overdue, but I want to give a huge shout-out to Debbie, the manager. She was absolutely amazing! I’ve had my girl ferret for almost five years now, and sadly her brother passed away from adrenal disease. When we went into Petco, we noticed two beautiful boys who had been there for a while. We finally decided to inquire about them, and Debbie was so incredibly kind to allow us to bring our girl in for a meet-and-greet to make sure they would get along. The visit went wonderfully, and they came home with us that very day! They are the cutest, most energetic little boys, and we couldn’t be happier. Thank you so much to Debbie and the entire team for making the meet-and-greet possible and for helping give our beautiful boys their forever home. ♥️

We love our Dog Groomer, Brie in Toms River!! Not only does she groom our 3 pups but she is the most accommodating with our schedule. She does a wonderful job of making our 3 girls beautiful and above all cared for when they come in for their “spa day “ Thank you so much for everything you do, Brie.

Posted a pic of what a papillon is supposed to look like and a pic of my Sad Trixie after her experience at Petco. Yes,hair will grow back but these young girls are not trained to groom. Very poor customer service. 2.5 hours for my very skittish girl to be done and was plopped in her carrier before I could even give her a once over. I was picking hair clippings off her. Brianna just laughed and said "oh you should see me when I leave here" she also stated "oh she just stood there,no problem". No my Trixie didn't just stand there, she was frozen in fear. Please Petco Do better, you groomers need compassion.
