(from Google)First time going to this Petco for grooming as I just moved to the area. Absolutely loved the service. My dog looks great. Def recommend going here.
My experience at Petco Grooming is a huge disappointment. I hope that if anyone is thinking of taking their pet there for a grooming (haircut), they'll read this before going. The employees at this location don't follow any specific process or style guidelines for different dog types, no matter what is explained to them about the desired cut. All the cuts are the same, the shortest possible cut, leaving the tail untouched. "They leave them looking like foxes." I hope this review reaches both the store management and other customers so they don't go there for their pets.
Michelle has been always great with Apollo. He is a rescue pup but she always takes good care of him. We will keep coming, praying that she stays at Petco. Thanks
The Petco groomer gets 5 stars based on my observations, grooming outcome and my pet’s positive behavior when I leave her at Petco. My pet wags her tail when she sees her groomer. And when I pick her up, her tail is still wagging with excitement; plus the overall grooming is top notch. Thank you for taking care of my precious gem (miniature poodle), as if she were part of your family. 🐾 ♥️
I wanted to share my experience at Petco Grooming. We have a West Highland White Terrier, and we’ve been growing out the hair on his face for almost a year to get that classic Westie look. Because English is not my first language and we had a bad grooming experience in the past, I came with my husband to make sure everything was explained clearly. We told the groomer very specifically: please do not cut the hair on his face, just clean a little around the ears, mouth (for hygiene), and eyes so he can see. For the body — keep the skirt, trim the neck shorter and blend it into the back. And of course, full hygiene. My husband even repeated several times: “Please don’t touch the head. We want the ‘lion look’.” When I came to pick him up, my heart sank. His beautiful face hair was trimmed short — exactly what we asked not to do. I told the groomer, and she just said, “I’m sorry.” I left very upset. We were so clear with our instructions, and this was really important to us. I’m sharing this story in case it helps another pet owner avoid the same disappointment. 📷 Photos are attached to show the before and after.
