(from Google)Words cannot express how impressed and happy I am with the service I received!!! I was given a Bichon during Covid and had no experience with small breeds or maintaining her fur. Covid became worse and so did her fur. Unfortunately I wasn’t leaving my house at all because of illness, so I did the best I could brushing and caring for her but the inevitable happened and she became Severely matted. I explained the situation to lidia and she made a appointment for me!!! She was kind and understanding and told me not to worry!!! She also took her time explaining on how to care for my fur baby better. This shop is amazing and did a wonderful job!!! I recommend highly!!!
This was my first time bringing Bruno in to Lidia. Bruno is a Golden Doodle and give me a hard time to brush him. So his hair was a bit matted. Lidia did an amazing job on him and we are very pleased with her lever of quality. The pic with the blue bandanna is the after pic . What a difference. Thank you Lidia, see you again In one month.
This was the most horrible experience I have had in my life. My miniature poodle hadn't been groomed in 2 and a half months because in the last 3 months I have been in and out of the hospital. Not an excuse for letting time go by to groom my baby, however I am a single mom and have to prioritize my children and my health above all else. Lidia was recommended to me by my neighbor, and well, I was very glad she was able to accommodate me the day after I called to schedule. I made it clear he had not been groomed in some months. When I took him, Lidia the owner said he had knots and would cost a little more than she had quoted me. She hadn't quoted me a price but the regular charge in the previous places I have been to is $40-$50. She told me she would have to charge me $60 and that his hair would be cut a little shorter because of the knots. Understandable. She calls me 4 hours later and tells he is ready to be picked up. I rush to get him. As soon as I walk in, she tells me in Spanish "I lost money today because of your dog! We had to spend all our time on him because he was so badly knotted. You must not groom him yourself, or you don't take him to get professionally groomed because he had knots everywhere and that hurts him. You can't let him go that long without grooming." I rescued my poodle from an owner who had him 6 months and NEVER took him to get groomed, he lived outside in the yard, was full of fleas, and wasn't loved or cared for. He is our family's pride and joy. Yes, he went 2 and a half months without grooming because I had to have 3 surgeries within a time span of 3 months, and had no time to get him to a professional groomer. My kids and I bathe him and groom him at home as best we can. I was so embarrassed and hurt that she would make me feel like such a terrible dog owner. She literally made me cry in her place of business! He is up to date on shots, takes flea medication regularly, and sleeps indoors with us! He is in a loving and caring home! To say I caused her to lose money and make derogatory comments as she did is extremely unprofessional and wrong. I even tipped her $20 on top of the $60 she charged me. I made sure to tell her I will never bring my pet here again, since he was such an inconvenience and such work. I have never had such a horrible and degrading experience. She was literally yelling at me as though I was a child. She didn't bother to give me a receipt. I have no idea how this woman is in business, when she didn't even bother to ask me for vaccination records. What a horrible experience. I can't even imagine what my dog went through while he was there, since he was such an inconvenience to this business. I AM MORTIFIED BY THIS EXPERIENCE. And I WILL be reporting to the BBB. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE, FOR YOUR PET'S SAKE! As for the owner's response, what a shameful and disgusting way to run your business. You will be seeing me there on Monday to get my refund, since you choose to badger and belittle a full paying customer who even gave a $20 tip for the sheer and utter embarrassment of being treated as though I mistreat my pet! The photos are of the burns you left my dog in his genitals, and the job.you claim to have done better. The longer haired picture is what he looked like. I have receipts of all of the money I spend in vet care, and all of the UP TO DATE VACCINES WHICH YOU DO NOT CARE TO ASK FOR. I have also reported you to the Better Business Bureau. And now, for the extreme rudeness and disgusting disgusting response, I will make it an effort to let EVERYONE know the garbage of a business and the lack of professionalism that you carry. My dog was crying and with anxiety all day from the burns you caused him! So now, you want to play these games of insults and lacking to take responsibility for your mistakes? I guarantee you, you will not win. I will see you Monday. 3/1 I have since reported you to the BBB, which you will be receiving a visit from. And I will make it a point to review your business in every platform acceptable. You will not insult me and think it is ok.
Lydia's amazing!!! She's been faithfully loving our dogs for over so years!! Its nice receiving compliments on their grooming. She always adds that extra touch each time. She helped us get our dogs diet corrected when she noticed their weight loss. We're happy to have her expertise and her fees are fair and reasonable. We love her! Its always our pleasure to refer friends & family!!
My beautiful Chow Mix dog was the furriest dog I have ever had (she had an undercoat as well as the outer coat) and I tried many dog groomers until I finally found Lidia. I did not want her shaved and Lidia took great care and worked very hard to wash, brush out and dry her. And that was no easy task! She weighed 70 lbs, but when Lidia finished her magic, Sadie was very clean and gorgeously fluffy. Sadie has now passed on, but I am grateful to Lidia for all the time spent to make her beautiful every month.
