Tryon Road Greenway

Great place for walking while enjoying the view. There is a busy road nearby but around the trail is not crowded. Bring your companion if you don’t like you’re walking alone. Not sure where to park but I ended it up parking at The Lodge area.

A nice greenway featuring a multi-use paved trail for walking, jogging, biking, and especially for walking your furry friends. The sunset beautiful from here. 🌇 🐕 🚴

I love this greenway! I walk it every morning with my dog. She has plenty to look at and sniff, and I have a clear path to walk. It’s a win win! There are many animals to spot, I’ve even seen otters. Overall, it’s a nice walk. There is a busy road nearby, but the walk winds in and out of trees and around the lake so it’s still beautiful.

Very clean, peaceful trail. My dogs love going here for a walk. On the plus side, it connects to a shopping center with a couple of restaurants that have outside seating and dog friendly.

Scenic greenway trail around a pretty pond. The loop is a little short for biking but it's great for walking. There are a few Adirondack chairs on the West side of the pond that you can sit in and enjoy some peace and quiet (when it's not mosquito season, that is).
