(from Google)This quieter section of Rodeo Beach offers a more intimate experience. It’s less trafficked than the main beach, making it ideal for those seeking solitude or a peaceful walk along the shore. The terrain is a bit more rugged, with rocky outcrops and tide pools to explore. There’s little in the way of facilities, so it’s best to come prepared with water and snacks. The views are stunning, especially when the fog rolls in or the sun breaks through the clouds. It’s a hidden gem for those willing to venture a bit further.
This beach has unique sand
On low tide, you can walk along the base of the cliffs to South Rodeo Beach, and then take a trail up to the top of the cliffs where there are great views. From the top you can continue south to Fort Barry or return to Rodeo Beach.
An almost isolated beach (thanks to the tides) that can be accessed from the other beaches depending on the time or from the Alexander Battery Parking lot on the hill. You’ll feel your legs going up and down the hill but it’s worth the visit. Cold water!
Amazing little tucked away beach. Not too big, so not a tone of places to go exploring but nice to just play In the water and sand. We went on a holiday and it still wasn’t too packed. There is a parking lot with bathrooms but it smelled so I went in the trees.
