(from Google)The best hike I've been on so far. It had good views, challenging enough and plenty of people, so felt safe. If you're walking be careful with the bikers on the path.
Beautiful walking, hiking, bicycling and hanging out at the beach. Bathrooms and picnic areas avaliable.
Rodeo Beach and Coastal Trail are a perfect escape just north of the Golden Gate beach itself has striking dark pebbles, dramatic cliffs, and a wild, rugged feel. The coastal trail takes you up into the Marin Headlands with sweeping views of the Pacific, the bridge, and San Francisco on clear days. It’s well marked, not too strenuous, and offers plenty of photo opportunities. A beautiful spot for hiking, picnics, or just enjoying the ocean air
Pretty awesome beach/trail/hike in Marin County north side of the Golden Gate Bridge! The drive in is pretty easy amd there is a unique one way tunnel that you have to drive thru to access Rodeo Beach. There is ample parking. There are BBq spots to grill at, the beach is dog friendly and the view from atop the overlook is amazing! There were lots of surfers but swimming is not recommended as the surf can be very dangerous. There are signs posted and no lifeguards I believe but am not 100 percent sure. I didn't see any. Great day trip for family and/or friends!
Lots of trails - way more than on the map. Absolutely gorgeous wildflowers when in season. Way finding is a bit rough, so recommend paying attention to your direction/ where you want to go. But Absolutely gorgeous and so close to thr city!
